Rather than making inserts to fill the cuts in my MFT, I've used Bondo to fill the cuts. Its a perfect fit every time and can easily be sanded flush. Leaves the top like new. Nice work.
For the dust extraction with festool extractors 50mm solvent weld pipe fits straight into the inlet on their extractors. 63mm blast gates from axminster machinery etc fit onto the 50mm solvent weld on the side and the festool hose fits straight into the inlet side on the blast gate. Not sure if that will work on the trend though? So you could plumb in a central system above the kapex/ mft etc and not have to keep swapping hoses around. :)
Ciao. Ho intensione di acquistare una sega Festool ma sono indeciso fra Hk e TS. La Hk è precisa come la TS soprattutto con il taglio di pannelli con mft? Grazie e buon lavoro
Ingenious mods to your table. Will be doing the same. PS. Man that roof looks dangerous - is that mold? You'd want to watch your lungs around that stuff :(
How good is the HKC55 with dust extraction instead of using the dust bag. ?. I am thinking to buy the MFT/3 with this tracksaw, but do not like the amount of dust that saw in the video.
Felix Riestra , TS55 is much better for dust free work , I love the cordless easy of use with the HKC55. Buy yes if you use a vac with the HKC it is much better than the bag. But not as good as TS55
You may like take a look at this video from "Toolify" for the TS55 related to dust extraction. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8Ns5CoxaM88.html . Thanks for quick answer.
As a cabinet maker who's replacing a full workshop can you recommend that router.... it's got an inbuilt depth adjustment in the handle like one of my all time favourite routers. How is its performance for a bench life.....
Dave Gray I love the little 1010 router it’s very handy having a router which is 8mm but small er than the bigger 1/2 router . Not sure it’s man enough for bench mounting work . Work perfect with the rail system !
Hallo, i like your Projekts Manor...you are using a Festool Saw Guide rail. What Kind of bracket for your Guide rail are you used? I Hope we will See you More from you soon.
