I've taken quite a few Microsoft exams, including a few fundamental exams in addition to the MS-102, MD-102 and the SC-400. In this video, I share my experience with you on what the exams are like, how to prepare for them and why MS Learn may not be the most helpful resource.

Thanks for taking hourly time to guide us through. I have 365 administrator scheduled for Feb 2024, I need materials that can guide me through this process of passing and materials.

Loved your video you helped me out a lot. However, I do have a question. I have about 7 years working as a M365 Admin. In my roles, I am responsible for, user accounts, DL's, groups and group management. policies and permissions. With that being said, I want to take the MS-102 exam. Are there any exams that I need to pass first before I take the MS-102? Thank you for your time

No you can take the MS-102 without the need for any other exams but you won’t receive an administrator expert certification until you pass the prereqs, one of which is the MS-102. See more here: learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/m365-administrator-expert/

I have a lot of Intune experience and SCCM as well. It’s tough, it makes you think. Definitely want to know other deployment options such as the Microsoft deployment toolkit.

To be honest I used the learn material and work experience of using Purview. I think I also played around in a Microsoft developer e5 tenant which I’m not sure they offer anymore.

I used the MS learn material in addition to work experience with Intune for Windows endpoints. I also played around with MDT on my own, had a few questions about that process so it was helpful.
