A super video Amber, thank you so much. I was wondering how much time do you macerate your fragrances for. I really agree with you, after a while some fragrances you go back to, and smell better, also our noses some times plays tricks with us too, lol.
I have the swiss Arabian white shagaf heavy incense. I have a ton of middle eastern fragrances. Both sprays and oils and quite a few expensive oud oils like from Ensar Oud and others.
Mine have had a full year to macerate... but I would say at least a couple months to macerate. You need to spray them to introduce oxygen into the perfume. Apparently this helps... but with any perfume time truly makes them smell stronger and longer lasting.
Hey Amber. Great video. Khamrah is a dupe for Dates Delight by the House of Oud. Kismet Angel is the Angels Share dupe. I macerate all my scents 4-12 weeks. Lattafa is 3-4, Afnan 3-4, Armaf 6-12 and Haramain 4-8. I no longer buy Swiss Arabian or Ajmal, my chemistry doesn’t match their energy. I can’t do bubblegum tuberose, either. Lattafa Awaan and Reyna have that note. Infini Musk, airy, lemon lime opening, intimate. Honor & Glory( lactonic brûlée): too similar in lactonic notes to Yara (lactonic floral) and Al Fursan Unlimited (lactonic coconut), which I prefer.
