Nice I have been using the Deity W-Lav Pro's on my system for about 2 years and they are still going strong after being on motorcyclist racing around track to being out on someone at -60f. Paired with the Deity S-Mic 2s which has been ridiculously robust. I run around with tentacle syncs and a track-e sometimes as well as the Sony UWP system. I never fully trust wireless though...
Nice! Timecode is so essential on production. I’ve never used the Sony UWP system, but in general, wireless sometimes makes me nervous which is why I love theos. I love being able to swap over to internal recording which is what I did at NAB
You should have no issues transmitting and recording in the UK for which I am immensely jealous haha. My understanding is it is only a limitation in the USA due to a patent.
@@TylerEdwards this is what I'm trying to confirm but the CVP store listing confusingly states this: "Please note that for users in the EU/UK, the system may only record or transmit at one time, but this can be easily adjusted through the app."
another great video man, to be for reals sometimes I shy away from the videos because they're so clearly years ahead of where I'm at gear, experience and quality wise xD but as I see it, in ways you're where I'd like to be eventually so it's nice to see these setups and tip videos, even if they're a little above my pay grade for now 😄 keep up the quality work 👏
For anyone looking for another battery solution than what's above, anker's prime power bank with 20,000 mAh is cheaper, has almost 6x the battery capacity of the smallrig 50, and has 3 ports for outputting power. It fits perfectly in the bag below the mix pre 3 II. I have both the bag and the mix pre, and I absolutely love the battery bank. Otherwise this kit is absolutely perfect!
@@mribi I don’t think Wh is used to measure battery bank storage, but more how much energy a device consumes. mAh is used to measure energy storage of a battery, and the smallrig 50 has 3400 mAh vs the anker having 20,000.
