Hi Garret, I don't often write comments on RU-vid but after finding you earlier today and watching some of your videos because I couldn't sleep, I'm glad I did. You've made me question quite a number of things already. Thanks for being sincere and transparent, we're all definitely in need of rational positive people nowadays. The majority of people are looking for empty motivation and hype, but sadly just goes to show authenticity is not in everybody’s DNA. I am all about building it right and reach also includes how much impact is made with those that watch, in that case I am very happy with the results. This is the same reason I let my semi truck go... yeah a lot of cash flow but the savings were depleted most of the time, 5 or 6 days a week on the road to get home and be forced to work on the truck on my day off, wife was pulling out a bitch on me within her reasons, then covid came and I was like yeap this sucker gotta go and sold it for like maybe 40% more than the market value, I'm now seating and good amount of cash working for someone else and bring in in about 50% of what I used to "make" clean(net) with my own truck, well I learned after 6 years of owning my own Corp/equipment that sometimes the less shit you "own" the cleaner your cut cuz you dont have to deal with the risk of breakdowns and such, a big breakdown/towing can wipe out on a few mnts a lot of your gains for the year plus you just end up paying for the priviledge of having a crappy job and that's what a lot of people dont see when the own their biz.. you pretty much paying to be unhappy
I seldom comment on videos, but this video needs to be at the forefront of every adult's eyes. I don't know if everyone will agree with specifics, but the mindset(s) throughout this message can add so much value. Communicate: Don't be an island Focus: Do only as much as you can do excellently Be Dynamic: In changing times ridged people/businesses can break Collaborate: Involve others in your strategizing/action-taking (choose these "others" wisely) Act: Hesitation and lack of action is a slippery slope Be Selfless: Being close-fisted or spending to "strike it rich" is self-sabotaging at some level. Aim to primarily add value. This is what I learned. Thank you Garrett for sharing!

I stumbled upon your page from your interview with Robert Kiyosaki(My Idol) and I love everything you talk about... In fact i love everybody that teaches us how to change our mindset first and foremost.. I'm a Nigerian and that should tell u how poor we are here with less opportunities,I'll love to be your student cos I've been sitting on a gold mine for too long and I think this is the right time for me to work on it but our loan system here is as worst as they can get so its almost difficult here... Thats why I've been investing in myself,I spend most of my savings listening to people like u and Robert on RU-vid. But recently I started working on one of my ideas(I'm sitting on 2 goldmines RN) because its in demand here in my country. Everybody around me knows I need loan and its not a secret but the opportunity here is very slim. But still I keep investing in myself. Thanks for your insight and I hope that I get to be in a room with you and Robert someday... I'm really working towards that because both of you are like an eye opener to me.
Me too, and I’m also an only child, so I had to learn the hard way.. I bought a house 2018 that I wish I hadn’t. And it’s torcher n me. Rent is more than wat I’m pay n in NY so it wudnt make any sense to me to sell..
For those who see this comment (before it is deleted), my biggest mistake from the last recession was listening to a life insurance salesman. They like to use the fear of the stock market to ramp up their sales of whole life insurance as an investment. When in reality, this is the PERFECT time to buy up stocks. And yes, in case you are wondering, Garret is trying to sell you whole life insurance. Please don’t make the same mistake that I did. ✌🏼
This isn't the perfect time to buy stocks. The economy is sickly and propped up on a house of cards of fake money. It took years for the stock market to hit bottom in the great depression...

All negative, no hope for the economy, etc. You are talking exactly like people did back in March 2009. Im about to dump a ton of money into travel stocks. You keep buying your toilet paper.

Feel free to give your ideas here on the comments, I won't delete them. You can have your opinion. I like overfunded whole life. I used to sell it from 1999-2005. I still certify people in a process called Cash Flow Banking. Lots of whole life isn't designed properly or isn't with the right companies for it to perform, I get it. It is merely a tool, when in the right hands, designed well can be extremely effective. MOst people know nothing about stocks, but are still investing or should I say speculating. There are hedge funds that know what to do, but most watching here don't have the access to the best ones. Find your investor DNA. Focus on what you know, invest in what you know and protect the downside.

Garrett, I heard you a while back on GRE podcast. Didn't know you have a yt channel! I'm a military M.D. and also a passive real estate investor in various syndications. I don't have an active business, but wanted to know your thoughts on current opportunities in real estate. Continue to fund syndications, or better to take a 3-6 months break and reassess?
