Nice! I just bought my second MJT strat. I sold the first for 1000.00 after buying it for 1600.00 to a friend. And just bought the second used for 960.00. Got it from a guitar center that didnt know what it was worth! I found out it was specially built for a guy with around 1700.00 worth of parts! I'll send you the info I found on the guitar, After, I bought from guitar center for 960.00 just because I liked my first one so much! Your so right, these are better than custom shop guitars! I've owned both and you can only do so much to customize a guitar to the max! I'll send the info.

I have known about those for a while and I wish Singapore would have them! I’ve seen one or two pop up on the 2nd market, but they were snatched up really quickly.

My mjt was the best sounding tele I’ve ever heard, but feel wise it was no better than a Mexican fender. Sold it.

Aw man. What contributed to that feel? The quality of the components put together? I do have a Mexican Tele and it's several levels below the MJT's in feel. But as a result of that, I'm not afraid to get the Mexican dinged when I know the gig is going to be rough, haha.

Great story and good points! I had a Fender CS 62 relic Strat that I sold to buy my dream MJT/Musikraft build. Never regretted it and I much prefer the MJT. I think it helps a lot to know what you are aiming for with the end result. That will make choosing the parts much easier and you can decide where to splurge and where to stick to a budget.

Thank you for the kind words, and you have great points too! I only wish I knew what I was aiming for when I was a lot younger. It’s a bit of a catch-22 isn’t it? I went through many guitars because I didn’t know what I want. But I wouldn’t have known what I want unless I went through the many guitars!

Great video man. Do regular fender necks fit in the bodies? And did you do all the installations yourself?

Their necks and bodies are plug-and-play. Will work with any Fender guitar or bass. Just don't buy them to work on Squier parts as Squier necks and neck pockets are different size then everything else. Google MJT guitars and check out their website. They are very friendly and will answer your questions. Also, go on Ebay. They have their own store on Ebay and sell a lot of their gear there.

That’s a good question! I bought this off a friend so it’s “third hand”; I don’t have the official spec sheet but I think it started out as fiesta red before turning a duller colour due to usage over time. It’s also a heavy relic.

Hi Charles! Thanks for the kind words, and congrats on getting a body on order! What body shape did you get? My rig is a G10 wireless into the HX Stomp by Line 6! I believe in the signal chain of the HX Stomp, I’m using the Litigator amp model with a Own Hammer 4x12” Boogie IR, pushed by the 808 style overdrive.

Hi, thank you! The red one has an Andy Timmons set (AT-1 bridge, Cruiser bridges in the neck and middle), while the two-tone burst has Porter 1950’s.

I have a MJT aged telecaster with original Fender electrical parts. It is a very good guitar. I am thinking now of building a Strato. Can you have a sound close to American Vintage or is it impossible?

Sounds like an amazing Tele with lots of vibe! I think it depends on whether you like the sound and feel of a “vintage” guitar. You may not actually like it (I personally don’t like vintage guitars, no two guitars will sound the same!), so best to try a couple in person if you can.

Hi! It's an alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, 9.5" radius, with DiMarzio AT-1 (bridge) and Cruiser Bridge (for middle and neck) pickups.

You can order direct from them, which will take a while from what I'm told. If you're able to build your own partscaster, the 2nd hand market has many MJT bodies.
