Very cool. Was this before Columbus won the MLS final? They are a big club. So you must be good if they invited you.

Thanks! Yeah it was about a week and half before the final. I’m a long ways from making the U15 academy team but they start identifying players for it now. If I make it or not it’s been a great experience either way! 😁⚽️

@@DMorin2011 How did you get a trial there if I may ask? There are a lot of good clubs in and around Michigan so I'm sure you have some options.

@@nofurtherwest3474 I was contacted by them to come down to Columbus for a trial so they could see me in person. They watch of film on players so that’s how I got my opportunity.

It’s never too late to start. You will probably have to start at a lower level but keep working and you’ll keep getting better and can play at a higher level. Good luck!

It was a super cool experience and I’m thankful for this opportunity! A lot of good coaches and players. I go back in January. Also cool training in stadiums too! 😁

I’m currently in phase 3 of the Columbus Crew program. The team isn’t officially formed until U15. So I’m on the team for now in U13. I’ve played a game with them. Everyone on this team has another team as their full time team. My regular team is Midwest United.
