Wow my guy your eye for design and esthetic is absolutely amazing. You should think about some consulting work in the interior space you would kill it. Very nice man
You really have good taste in design, the only thing I'd personally change is the cabinet color to white oak and an induction instead of gas. Other than that it's a dream kitchen!
🤔 That mitered edge on the table, as well as the inside joint on the stone is looking rough (left of the sink). I would talk to your contractor now about those little details because they won't hold up... Also, the cupwasher urgently needs some sort of sealant to the stone. The overall design is quite nice but things that are off now (like misaligned doors) will only get worse with time.
About your choice of microwave and oven I thought you would have opt with the built-in microwave+oven you used in the Outlook apartment, but everything else was just increadible as always. Thank you for sharing your design journey!
Thanks for sharing. As a builder and architect I love the clean lines. Glad you used screw-less switch plates. It is unfortunate your hardware company didn’t have the two tone color from your lights and kitchen faucet. I believe the future of cooktops will be induction, but they do not look nearly as good as your gas cooktop does.
How is knurling going to retain bacteria and be cleaned? You'll need to clean it with a brush which is one factor to consider. While it looks nice, it's PITA to clean especially on something like your sink where working with meats means you need to clean the faucet frequently.
Amazing design! One crucial suggestion. Get a grinder. Having a nice espresso machine and no grinder is like buying fancy Japanese knives and use a 1$ plastic cutting board. Look into Lagom, Zerno, or if you want the endgame of all endgames, Weber EG-1. 😉
Where are the extra power outlets? I spotted one on the right side of the cook top, otherwise only those for the appliances in the breakfast bar and left side for the microwave, etc.
Besides the one you mentioned... Island (just above the table), across from the table (on the wall by the floor), in the coffee bar, and I'm certain there are more hidden ones.
@@mpinkchristofalo good eye, but on the wall by the floor not practical, and of course there must be ones for the appliances that are out on display. But until I see the extra hidden ones I won’t believe it.
@@aussiestallion69 LoL! ☺️ I'm not speaking for Justin but we placed an outlet like that (close to the floor) for our RoboRock. He had one in his last place, maybe he's planning on doing the same?
I absolutely LOVE this kitchen design. I was wondering if you can do a video sharing the plans to the kitchen or if you have it on your site for purchase maybe? We’ll be remodeling our home this year and starting the planning process and your kitchen is major inspo for my husband and I. Great video!
It's not ugly, but I see kitchens like this all day long so its kind of ho hum. Also, it looks like a showroom kitchen, like real people do not live there (or worse, being used by people who are super anal) which makes it more of a turn off. I miss your early designs where there is a pop of color, introducing a note of whimsy that always drew my attention.
Its really good for someone who dont cook often. OR for someone has a house maid. Otherwise, everything its just gonna be IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean from all the greases.
There are so many YTers doing house, room, office etc builds and they are what I describe as “beautiful vanilla”. Great materials and fabrication but devoid of any personal personality. They’d die and you’d not have a clue who lived there prior!
Amazing transformation. I love the colour palette and materials chosen. Do you have a high-level breakdown of renovation costs associated with this? Interior designers, materials, labour etc?
It’s gorgeous I know u said u liked everything to be sympathetic but I probably would have done the sink to the side, but that’s because I need space when cooking 😅 otherwise it gives me anxiety. Beautiful kitchen
I hope you were able to give away the original kitchen or it was repurposed somehow. That kitchen was already better than 99%+ of kitchens around the world so I hope it didn't end up in landfill.
