You missed a key point here. When she realized that Jeanie wasn't lying she apologized and disowned the family member that was molesting her. Forgiveness is only necessary when the party in the wrong makes things right and being angry about something valid isn't holding a grudge.

Mama Mai gives me life. As someone who suffers from chronic pain and depression I can't tell you how much she helps lift my spirits especially when I am in a really place.
