I’m a hairstylist. It’s smoking because she’s got the temperature way too high and/or if it’s still slightly damp. So important to use a heat protectant always. Never let someone put heat on your hair without it. Your mom is beautiful 💕 much love from Alabama, US.
Hair stylist should have dried her whole head of hair quite a bit, where still slightly damp, before sectioning and fully drying right? I mean her hair was like soaking wet and it probably took a lifetime to dry it the way she did, super wet hair sectioned off. She probably was over it and gave up lol.
Your mom is beautiful and as a mama myself, this is so sweet. We do lose ourselves while we take care of our babies and it can be so hard to do something just for us. Such a memorable gift ❤
Wow the makeup on your mom really enhanced her beauty 😍❤but the foundation was kind of thick, i love your mom 😂 she was very playful with her model runway walk. That is totally me!
Your mom is beautiful. I now know where you get your lovely hair and looks from ❤. Your mum was right, he should have used moisturiser, especially as she asked him for it before he started. The MUA could have done better, but she still looked gorgeous though. P. S. Always use a good sunscreen especially where you live and don't tan your face... you will thank me when you're in your 40s 50s 😁. Love your videos Andrea ❤️
I put the msg about sunscreen as I'd inadvertently clicked on to your video 5 months ago where the MUA told you off for not wearing sun protector... The MUA who worked on Miss Universe 2004 (I watched it all again, even though I'd seen it 😂😂)
Andrea!!! You both are twins!!! Beautiful. Like your mother, I thought that it was ok to burn and all this pulling during the process, but then I found that it is not needed.😊
I think about 90% of people do not have their makeup done at a salon! It’s like either for a prom or for a wedding and that’s it. So it’s no wonder it was so long ago for your mom! She mom is such a beauty btw❤
Hairstylist! Soo theres a bit of a myth with heat protector, realistically you should be applying it when drying and when styling with heat. But its not 100% protective like a lot sell them to be. Most of them are full of unnecessary filler material, theres a silicone like substance which goes into most protectants. But if you want overall smoothness, lack of frizz and less straightening weekly to do. LOREAL STEAM PODS are amaaaaaazing! My hairs a lot healthier from changing what tool I use to steam pods. And also a good high quality hairdryer helps! The main tip for healthier hair is treatments and finding the right one for your hair type and regular trims. Some stylists seem to prefer straighteners up full whack. I usually stick to 160-180 as it’s ample enough unless I’m doing resistant hair or afro hair but as above I now use steam pods and find I need less heat as the steam smooths the hair out beautifully!
When straightening hair, if the smoke dissipates then it's the products in the hair making it smoke, it's not damaging your hair. If the smoke doesn't dissipate, that's not good, the iron is too hot & burning your hair.
I swear your mom has a doppelgänger in Mazatlan Mexico. The condo manager for the building I stayed at looks so much like her!! Maybe a few years older than your mom, but close.
I would give everything I have to know you and your mother in person. You both are so wonderfull... I know the chance for it is to small, but if you ever come to Croatia, please, tell me... I would like to show you all the beauty of my country. ❤️
Okay to be fair, i used to get out of the shower and staright up starightened my hair. And i had NICE hair. And i still do. It use to sizzle and smoke and everything but it didnt kill my hair at all. Idk why. But shes ignoring you cause even if it does get slightly damaged its fine lol its not the end of the world its just hair
WHy did she not get a trim on her hair? It looked beautifully shiny and is obviously cared for but a little trim would get rid of the ragged ends. She looked great.
omg she didnt use heat protector on her hair she will damage her hair ive been to my local cheap hairdresser and she always put heat protector on hair x
You look so much like your mum both beautiful. It gave me so much anxiety how many times the hairstylist went over the same part of the hair with those straighteners you only need to do one slow pass 2 at most and the heat was way to high that's why it was smoking.
I like your moms point of view about her hair, its normal Andrea..yes of course if she complains to you that it's too hot then say something. The flat iron smokes because it's evaporating any moisture left from the hair. You have to remember your hair follicle expands and is porous and soaked up a lot of water even when it's dry your hair with heat will squeeze more moisture out of the hair hence the split ends which I admire your mom about that she's not picky about her hair like some people Andrea...😆 But yes using heat protectant for her hair type cause she already had split ends should be used.
The hair was way too wet, do they not rough dry it first! We always do here! The make up skin prep was not enough, for a maturer skin you need to moisturise and use eye cream, that highlighter was way too much on the face, the foundation was too drying too
Me watching video and saying how much difference could makeup create without makeup you look so different like u look older, without realising that she is your mom😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
She should of put heat protection on ... and only run the straighteners on once not several times😢 poor hair...then I always use hair oil ... I'm 55 and iv never had my makeup done
Your mom is pretty. I love the colors of the eye shadow. But they shouldn't look cakey! Also your hair SHOULDN'T steam/smoke like that. It was not dry enough or The iron was too high heat wise. Also, where the heck is the heat protector?! Don't let anyone touch your hair without any heat protectant on!
your mom is so beautiful the makeup didn't do her justice unfortunately . they used thick dry stuff without any moisture and too heavy handed. too much coverage and just not the correct type of makeup for her skin. poor application. and that white on brow bone, pass. very dated style of makeup. did the guy ask what skin type she has? do Many salons ask that where you've gone? curious now. bc that's a very important step for a real MUA to ask them address the skin prep, and adjust the products they use to suit your skins needs and the desired look.
