And my savage mom is back at it again! Also there is something important I talked about in this video near the end. So make sure you hear that out. I read many comments in our last Instagram react video, where people said my mom’s mentality is so old school etc. One thing, she is allowed to have her opinion when it comes to me but she always allows me to wear what I want to. She doesn’t stop me. So just wanted to quickly talk about that. Sending you all love

Indian mums are like that even though they don't share the same views on the choice of clothes they won't let down their daughters in public, even though they'll make sure that the daughter knows that the mother didn't like something ,but in private. I give that stare to my daughter too...
Indian moms make such a big deal over a woman showing a slight midriff, but then they go to temples to pray with the priests who have literally no shirt on. what a double standard.🙄
@@tanvi2971 I get what you are saying but I don't think what i said is inappropriate. On the contrary, It is the prime example. How is it that India frowns upon the female body, but people in power primarily men are able to show their bodies and never be told it is overly sexual and tempting? It's not just about showing skin, it is the IDEA behind it. It's all well and fine to try and protect females against crime, I completely understand that. But indirectly people have a notion of the female body being immodest in its natural form. How many times have you heard people telling women that they deserve to be raped if they act in what they think a "luring way". yes it may not be all, but too many people in India think that if a women acts in a certain way she herself is to blame for mistreatment. As for my priest comment, How is it that temples frown upon women even wearing a t-shirt because its "disrespecting the gods" but a man can be shirtless and only wear a cloth to cover his groin? That certainly was never a part of our culture and religion a long time ago.
@@thiswillnotdo6027 keep ur thoughts with u there is nothing wrong if parents are concerned or over protective for their child ,u want woman to wear whatever they want but when it comes to priests u r concerned about they are wearing tshirt or not ,this is what we call double standards:)
