My Mom (Tara Holmes) got behind the wheel of a KTM QRC 450 Outlaw Kart for the second time of her racing career! With a much smoother surface on the backyard track, she got some great experience, created some laughs lol, and had some fun ripping in circles around the dirt track!

Way to go Mrs Holmes!!! You were ripping it! Awesome job out there! I'm 64 now. And some of my favorite memories, were when I was behind the wheel of various race cars. Through all the up's and downs, I don't regret one minute of it.

A couple trucks I've seen to make small tracks like that super smoothe. Get a riding lawnmower and drag chain link fence flat the opposite way around the track while its dry. This helps pull up small rocks and level out any low spots. Then add water and pack it in with wide tires. Then drag a large tractor tire on its side opposite. Super smoothe track. Thats how we preped our RC dirt oval.

That’s badass. Your mom rocks. Also reminds me of back in the day they used to have a wifes/moms race called “the powder puff”. My aunt won in a street stock dirt car the same year my cousin won his championship.

Like to see what your mom can do when the car is all setup for her. Props to your mom. Let’s get her in for round three with it all fitted for her. I know for me when I use to race in my car versus jumping in my uncles car the comfortability factor is key for consistency which I know you guys know Tanner. Keep up the great content. I can’t wait to strap back into a car hopefully soon.

Way to go mom. 😁 My dad got my brother and myself involved in racing at a very early age, very much like yourself and Carly. It's one of the reason I like to follow you guys. And even though I haven't raced IRL for many many years now, I still look foward to, and enjoy, competing on IRacing every night. My dad and I live across the country from each other now, but we still talk on the phone after most weekends, just to talk about the races we watched over the weekend. Something I hope you and Carly will have the pleasure of doing as you guys get to be old farts also. 😊 And yes, he watches your videos also. 😊

That was cool . I wish My son and I had that track in our back yard .Our kart has been pushing us off the track . WE go in the bottom and go off the top of the track coming out of the corner. I think I got it better now . WE can race it this friday night
