Kelly sometimes I don't know if I watch to see your work or to hear your stories. I get so caught up in your stories I forget I'm watching a tutorial and I love your work but you tell such great stories that I get lost in them. LOL You have a really interesting life it seems and everything that happens to you is an adventure. I love hearing your stories... You are also a gifted story teller along with being a gifted card maker. Thanks for the great ride...........I love it. Pat

Congrats on the job Kelly. I think you will be amazing at it. I did the same thing in the early 80's with network administration when I was one of the few women in the field and no formal training available to anyone. The program I started is still running at WCTC. My nephew went through it. Some of my proudest moments are of former students letting me know what they accomplished after going through the program. If you ever need an ear, I would be happy to lend one as you go through the process of setting up something new. I know it will impact the rest of your life. Just hope we don't lose your videos as you ramp up - being totally selfish here. thanks as always for sharing.

Isn't it so typical when your independent youngsters want mommy as soon as she's busy , use to happen when I was on a phone call, before we had portable phones!! Exciting about your interview process , go girl!

I am hoping I can type this as fast as you can talk. No can’t but I got all night! You are a gifted story teller and what is better than that for an instructor. I can not imagine them not hiring you, what a lose that would be for them. The most amazing part of all this is your courage to add one more thing to the mountain of things you do all ready. It is admirable. My only concern is that you choose to give up sharing your crafting videos. Don’t do it! Your ability as an artist is a gift and I am blessed you share. It is a proven fact when a teacher is passionate about what they are teaching the student benefits the most from the teacher! Your students are going to be golden! I have always wanted to do dispatch for 911 just wasn't in God's plan for me I suppose. Thank you for all that you do, not only are you an AMAZING artist and bless us with your tutorials and knowledge but your just all around a rock star! AWESOME KELLY!! So happy for you and your new job!! It’s great when you love the work you do because now you will get to teach others what you do!! I seriously am so excited for you!! I’ve loved art all my life and when my two oldest kids were in school I got to share my love of art with the kids at school. I totally loved every minute doing it!! One year I even taught a small class calligraphy and they got to write the Ten Commandments. All those kids told me they really enjoyed learning calligraphy. So you have fun with the new job...I am really proud of you!! Btw...the card is totally awesome and I love me some cotton candy too!! Dariy Queen has a cotton candy blizzard that’s really good!! CONGRATULATIONS Kelly😃! I just got to watch this,been busy lately. The Card is adorable (i too hate snow cones, flavored crushed ice blech 😝). I was hired to teach the Medical Assistant program. I was asked to come up with a 5 min presentation. So I chose Blood Pressure (can be taught quickly). Well i HATE being the center of attention, I showed up and I had heart palpitations and I bowed out. I couldnt do it. One on one,no. Being in front of a class, nope. Can't do it. Id be lucky to have you as my teacher! You will be awesome. CONGRATULATIONS again!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🤩

Congratulations on your new job, Kelly! Just for future reference, the glow stuff in glow sticks is not toxic if ingested. My 8 year old son bit open his glow bracelet a few months ago and DRANK some of the fluid! He did this at school so I didn't even know about it until I picked him up hours later. Needless to say, I freaked out for a moment then did some research! The fluid will cause irritation if it gets in eyes, but is not toxic if swallowed. He did say it made his throat burn slightly on the way down, which made him STOP drinking it, but he never got sick from it and the throat irritation only lasted a couple of minutes.

Fun card! Congratulations on your job! Pah leeeze go over stippling with Copics. In my last project, I was at the end ... and out comes a big Copic ink blob....ker plow....ohhhh, no!! I admit I said some spicy words. I couldn’t fade it enough. Next time, I’ll get the stippling done at the beginning of the project. I love stippling’s texture! Thx for the video...and the stories!

Congratulations Kelly! I feel you will serve this new position very well! So much gets missed when on the job training happens. Having said that this is your time to shine and fill in all those holes! Good for you! The job we do is very thankless and under rated. Perhaps you will shine Some much needed light for the new upcoming civilian dispatchers! Our Training in Canada I’m sure is much different but with a lot of similarities. I know u know what I mean.
