It’s crazy when doctors compare us to able bodied. “You will never be able to do this like a ‘normal’ person” Especially because our doctors are able bodied and haven’t been through something like this how could they even say we won’t be able to. Most disabled people persevere and do anything they can to be independent.
Wish we could ban the word 'normal' in those settings. Just because you do things differently to an able bodied person, does that mean you're not normal? I feel that norms are becoming increasingly irrelevant as there are so many unique people and bodies and requirements.

I also use a wheelchair & when I was a child doctor's told my parents that I would never be able to do a lot of the things that I do on a daily basis.....joke is on those suckers now!!!🤣 They also said that I would probably never be able to go to college & hold down a job....again joke is on those suckers!!🤣🤣🤣 Doctor's are not as smart as they think they are!!!
This is so awesome!!!! This girl really has it going and has a great sense of humor. Yea. I could see where she said that she works in an office. She has that spunky electric personality to do that. Many office workers have a dead personality and are almost robotic like but she is amazing!!!! And I would have never known that she was in a wheel chair. Do things and it will put people out of the prospective of you. Keep that head strong and keep that personality. She seems for sure like she would definitely fit working in an office. I could only imagine how people leave from the office when she is done talking with them. I am sure that they are inspired and go away with their troubles behind them. I have met a lot of people that were of different disabilities, and they have their head down and saying “I can’t do this I will never bee able.” Well, to this I say look at this video and see what you really can do. Sometimes, it takes just one person to inspire you to go about doing things.
