I once had six rescues. I can definitely relate and appreciate the routines. They have all since passed, but now I have one giant pup that is like six dogs all rolled into one!
Quick tip - hydrate their kibble! Kibble is so dry and absorbs alot of fluid once in the stomach. Float every meal with water they will drink less and stay hydrated 😊
This is an amazing tip! But some dogs don't like their food like that, my dog doesn't as an example. This is a really good tip though I just wanted to say that in case that is the case for her doggies! We all appreciate your tip! ❤️✨
I really hate to see dogs being feed that dry hard food. My dog would literally choke on it, so I always add water and let it soften, he enjoys it so much better. Sometimes I add boiled chicken and pooch safe veggies too.
yup add a bit of fresh hole foods they live healthier and less smelly too. Make the food like a cooked soup blend it and soak into the kibble. See Dr Karen Becker.
Ellie jumping up on the bed to cuddle dad as soon as she got out her crate is the sweetest thing ever! 😭🥰😍😍❤️❤️ such precious pups all of them! you guys are awesome parents ❤️🙏🏼❤️
What a beautiful family, 6 (canine) kids, must be oodles of noodles of fun in that house full of doodles and poodles. But one word of caution, seems the world has become a bit more dangerous in recent years. Please don’t take those morning walks by yourself. I know it’s a private country setting, but anyone can go anywhere, show up at any time, and you’re announcing your daily routine to a large audience. I’m not trying to scare you but to help you realize that safety is something we must be mindful of every day in all we do. You are a truly precious person, and your husband too, so please take every precaution and be wary these strange days. Stay safe. Much love to you and the pups. Happy New Year. Maybe if you run the dogs with a morning ball chase in the backyard, they’ll learn to go there like the others.
I love finding more and more people having multiple fur babies! I have a house of seven - six small Chihuahuas and one very old Doxie. Every day is an adventure! 💕 But I wouldn't have it any other way - my fur babies are my life!
Love this and ALL your videos! We have 4 dogs inside (3 Goldendoodles and one Great Dane) and I laughed several times throughout this video...they all want to play with one toy even though they have a million to choose from, separating the puppy from others while they eat because she will eat ALL the food and wiping those dirty paws off before entering the house...ALL things I do as well. The joys of dog parenthood! Loved your garage conversion to dog room. I just converted mine this weekend...it is definitely a game changer. Thank you so much for sharing your life with us! I have learned so much from you! ❤❤
How sweet! You have a house full as well!! You really have to have a routine with that many dogs in order to stay sane lol! Thank you so much for watching & supporting my channel 🥰
This just popped up. I have one Golden and it’s sometimes overwhelming - good overwhelming. Certainly admire your decision for 6 dogs. You look well organised. 🐕 🐩
Excited to binge watch your latest couple videos! You’re living my dream! I currently have 2 mini doodles but live in the city so at the moment, no room for more. *Someday* 🤞🏼🐾♥️
One of his father about if you guys a fun help I love your puppy I love Harlow I love Willow I love her dogs and I love how you're one female keeper of puppies they are so beautiful I'm sorry have you had to get rid of them I know it's sort of sad and sorry that your cat has asked my cat my dogs always passed away I used to have cat and pepper and she passed away I really feel bad for you so yeah when your dog that's why I'm always here for you you don't have fun let me know that you gave me a subscriber so just give me a notification I love you my dogs are named butter and trouble and I love you so much baby I love you and I always am in your dreams I always sleep and do your morning teams and my sweet and I sometimes during my morning routine like you with my dogs but I only do butter to take a shovel it's really old he's going to pass away pretty soon love you
Love this! One question: why do you need to separate the 6 dogs in groups when doing things? I see you take turns taking dog pairs outside, eating, drinking, and to potty. Your pets-especially Freddy reminds me of my cat. Freddy has black markings, so does my cat. My cat is outside for the majority of his day, so is yours-Atleast I think.
We have one dood and it's driving me crazy. You having 6 is beyond impressive! I'd like to know though, have you ever had issues with them eating stuff they're not supposed to, tht could make them sick (e.g. mulch, rocks, etc); and if you let them potty unleashed, how are you able to track where they pooped so you can pick them up? Curious. Thanks !
Ahh I love this video! I love seeing y’all’s routines because it just give me more ideas and motivation to do with my pup! Please do more vids like this!
I don’t know how you have the time or patience for all the in, out, in crate, one eats, the others out etc etc haha! I have 4. Two sleep upstairs and two sleep in the dog room. They get let out at the same time, straight in the car, drive to a nearby park and walk for 1.5hr. Back home, all get fed at the same time and then back to nap time
Aaaaw love seeing that you have 6 pups💗 We have 5…4 Pitties and a Lab/Mastiff. Although we have an acre for ours to play, I love how much land y’all have for them to run. Love your dog room/set up, so cool🥰
You're absolutely right......Good evening Ginger how are you doing over there's hope you're having a wonderful day it's a great day thank the Lord has made.
Omg it felt so good to see your routine! I’m a dog mom to 4 and I have many cats so I have my own little routine too! Haha 😂 I always thought I was the only one! Definitely relate to the wwe playtime! ESP with my 2 large dogs so we tend to keep them separate from our 2 small ones!
I have 1 dog and 4 kids it's a lot but it keeps me moving. I definitely would love to add another dog next year to my family. I have 2 guinea pigs too. So I know how crazy morning routines are especially when you have to get up super early before work..lol Love these videos
I love your home full of dogs how great it is what fun you have. I myself have 5 dogs and wow what a fantastic experience it is the part of them having their own room (the dog room) awesome. Love this. your special with a big heart. Thank you for caring so for your animals.
Always look forward to your videos! Loved how real this was! Now Im really craving chick fil a breakfast though! Definitely a favorite of mine too! Thank you for showing people the reality of dog ownership! It’s wonderful and they bring so much joy, but I love how you show how much work goes into it if you take care of them properly! I think sometimes people underestimate how time consuming it can be if they’ve never owned a dog before. As always, LOVE your channel and your adorable family 💗😊
You're absolutely right......Good evening Ruth how are you doing over there's hope you're having a wonderful day it's a great day thank the Lord has made.
I’m sure she goes thru it too quickly for it to even think about going stale. My rescue is like 70 lbs and I don’t bother trying to keep it ‘fresh’ like I did with my little guy I used to have.
I love your pups!! I have a aussiedoodle he’s 8 months and I can’t wait to get another we’re going to wait till we move next year and have a bigger yard
So funny I stumbled on your page I have 4 doodles. And literally 4 min ago I wiped all their feet "special mud towel" one at a time before letting them back in came to lay down and this video popped up. ❤️🐾
They are all such beautiful dogs, it's really nice that you don't have to worry about the fur though. We have 4 dogs and am always having to sweep up lots and lots of fur! Two of our dogs are double coated, so I'm sure that has something to do with. But the dogs are worth every bit of hard work, their reward is so enriching and cannot compare to anything else really. Dogs are truly man's best friend, they give me unconditional love and the more the merrier I always say, as long as they are taken care of and loved that is what matters :] You are a great owner and are very dedicated to your dogs, I really love that you spend the time with them that they need.
Love it! I also adore your space. How many acres do you have? Looks amazing. We are looking to buy more land and have no idea how much we want and where. This looks like the best setup for our three mastitis and more to come! Would love to know more about your space 😊
We have a saint berdoodle, Always an adventure with these ones! Such big paws to wipe when they come in after a nice rainy Day. Love these dogs so fun to play with and always a adventure! 🐾🥰
I LOVE THIS! I have never seen a video like yours. I currently have 4 GSD’s and a 180lb St. Bernard. People call me the Nazi dog mom, because I have a strict routine. It’s hard to find People that Get it, to take care of this amount of dogs, even though I am so specific in my notes, and “walk throughs”. I would not change anything. They are happy and loved, have their own DOG room, a TV, 20 acres. Life is good. I totally feel the pain and LOVE. Great job, great video.
I will respond in the morning. Happy to share our routine! It’s almost 1:00 am. Fireworks are all done, letting them out for their last potty of the day!! What is your situation?
So, since this post, 1 of my German Shepherd’s, crossed the rainbow bridge. Routine is still the same. My dogs are all indoor dogs, I never leave them out and leave. They have their own room, playtime is outside, and I don’t let them on furniture, or sleep with any of them. They do not have free roaming in the house. If someone has an accident, I don’t know who it was. Because of their sizes, they each have their own XXL crate. I wake up, get dressed, get coffee and let them out front to take care of business first. When they were puppies, they had to pee twice and poop once, before play time. The Shepherds are all ball crazy, so they get about 30 minutes of supervised play time. If there is something that needs to be worked on, obedience wise, I will take the time to work on that situation. The St. Bernard has less energy so he likes to walk around the yard then usually gets a peanut butter bone and hangs out on his raised bed (place). If we get a delivery, they all go to place and stay, till driver is 💯 gone. We go in, back to dog room (it is a large room with windows facing front yard and back yard). They have plenty of bones and tug toys, etc to chew on for 30 minutes, so they can cool off. I never feed them immediately. I feed them (with regular food mixed with fish oil) and water them in their crates using flat back hanging metal bowls. They eat in their crates and I turn on TV (typically watch cop shows, to desensitize them from fear of gunshots). There is a gun range close to property. They all have beds and typically stay in crates for 3-4 hours. After errands or stuff around the house, they go out. I remove food, until dinner. We do the same thing as mornings and if we have other things to do, they can go out back to fenced in yard or hang out in dog room. I try to stay consistent time-wise and feed them dinner, in crates every night. They stay in crates for about 2-3 hours then go back out for 30 minutes or so. I hang out with them, brush, nails, make sure no burrs or hitchhikers, give each individual attention, then back to dog room. They hang out, so their thing and once I’m ready to go to bed, I let them out 1 more time, set the timer for 15 minutes, then to bed they go. Mine are old enough to have water in crate. I usually have 1 Shepherd that stays out, for guard duty still in dog room, I do leave his crate door open, as they all like their crates. Hope that helps! Good luck to you. PS. I use raised beds in crates as well, 1 of the GSD’s favorite past times was to destroy soft beds.
I have six dogs and I’m going to start watching your videos because at this point it’s been a year and I’d love some tips and see how others daily lifestyle are like ♥️ We also don’t crate…But I know how fortunate crate training can be and I love your system... Everyone potties outside but we put pads just in case someone needs to go in the middle of the night. Always one here or there….by the way I just heard the name “Ellie….” Ellie is the name of one of my AussiePomChis ♥️ This video was meant for me to watch 😭 We also do everything together…. Girl omg I swear to god. This is unbelievable…..her sisters name is WILLOW. How can this be real? I was too scared to look up help videos raising six dogs….thinking I could do it all on my own. I rescued their momma from an illegal breeder and won her through a court battle. Mom’s name is Stevie and she’s an AussiePom. Before we could get mom fixed she got pregnant by our ten year old Chihuahua who was nine at the time. I didnt have it in me to give anyone away and it was the best desicion I could make. We’re family and everyone is so respectful and loving and playful with one another Momma Stevie AussiePom Daddy Spencer LongHaired Chihuahua AussiePomChi Daughter Ellie AussiePomChi Daughter Willow AussiePomChi Daughter Blair AussiePomChi Son Jack ♥️♥️♥️♥️ Would love to make a channel and share them with the world ♥️♥️
your dogs and home are very well mantain, congratulations! i have seen people using cages and i understand the use of them. Meanwhile I have a small apartment and a very small dog that sleeps in someone´s bed (my daughter or me, the mom) or my sons coach in his bedroom. so we all get time with her and private time if we need to sleep fully without a dog moving or barking at city neighbors sounds... the other thing i do it to cook for her meat or chicken and few small bites of her royal canine food. This change of food has been good for her eyes, they look cleaner than just dog biscuits. We like to keep her clean because she sleeps with us and loves hoping on the coach etc. Sometimes when she pups soft, I clean her right away to avoid house becoming a mess. Bailey is great company during this pandemia for my family, now that all my children left to their activities, she lies down in a seat next to me in the dining table while i do homework. She cant be left alone or she gets to anxious and bites her legs out of nervousness. I would consider a second dog but its not in my current budget. So I rather have someone always with her, which sounds crazy but I dont know how to teach her to cope with herself and I see dogs that are old and never learned. I though of medicine but it hasnt worked either. And I received reports of her crying when everyone is out, even with tv, fan, food, water, toys... she just suffers separation anxiety too much. We have a vacation next December, 4 days out, and we have to leave her with someone... I hope she stays focus on her being with someone but probably she is going to miss us all. When things get back to normal, we would like to travel once a year for a week or 2 weeks and so I dont know how my dog will do. I worry about her too. We all want her happy.
This is sooo cute and sweet to watch! You take such good care of them, they are lucky to have you❤ Just a tip, when you leave the dog food bag completely open like that the food actually gets stale, obviously I’ve never tried it, lol, but my Vet told me it would be the same as if you left a box of cereal opened, it goes stale and changes the taste..Just thought I’d share😊
Really amazing! Thanks so much for sharing! We currently have one dog and I struggle with keeping a routine that works. Our goal is to get a second one but I have been unsure if I’ll be able to keep up with it. Very inspirational showing that if you organise yourself (and don’t cave into what they prefer!) it can work super well! Also amazing that you have a big second bedroom and backyard - and that you make great use of your space ❤ Would be interested in seeing a weekday routine too if you ever feel like filming one ❤
My husband feeds and lets our Great Pyrenees dogs out. I take care of my 17 cats. Yes 17… I have my routine down to a science. I have about 30 shallow stainless bowls, which I hand wash after breakfast. They run in the dishwasher overnight. They get dry and canned (or homemade) food at every meal. I’m extremely picky about scooping cat litter and hate cat litter on my great room carpet. I have a lightweight powerful vacuum for daily use and a heavy duty Dyson for weekly deep cleaning. I also invested in a Bissell commercial carpet cleaner last year (Amazon.) Best investment I ever made! I can now split up areas of my great room to shampoo on different days, so I don’t over do it on my back. No more having to return the rental machine before 24 hrs is up!
I’m so happy I found your chanel! I only own one dog now (we’re living in the city centre, unfortunately don’t have space for another pup) but it’s my an my partners dream to have 6 dog one day, once we have our own house. We both love dogs so much and want actually 6 different breads so it should be fun 😌 looking forward to a similar life you have now
