Hi Jenna, have always loved your videos and heart to heart talks...i started watching you, when you were around 6k subscribers.... followed you till you were around 25k, then somehow, your videos stopped popping up in my home screen. i had to type in your name and search and watch your new videos...and slowly it dwindled away. So beautiful! Makes me want to get out my videos of my babies. I loved getting to be a homemaker with my 3 sons for 12 years in their early years!! So so special! No other job compares to the beauty, fullness, and joy of being a homemaker with your children. I wish I could do that now. Thankfully, my boys are 15, 12 and 9 now. I also had my first baby 3 months ago, so I really enjoyed all your pregnancy content and was looking forward to your Mum content. I just wanted to say I think you are doing a beautiful job of showing your days as a mum without putting too much of your son on the internet as I know you said in your first video back that this was a concern for you and boy do I understand the scary intrusive thoughts and how desperately we want to keep them safe. I had my first baby boy the day before you had Connor! It's been so fun to watch your videos all throughout pregnancy and now and see we're in the same phases.. my boy wants to be held all the time right now too, loves being outside, and only crib naps 30 mins tops too haha. This video is morning routine goals! Also we have a golden retriever too!

For summers with small children, we just make it a priority to go out in the morning. We also look for indoor activities that are still active. Examples would be the chick fil a play area, mall play areas, indoor pools.

I just love watching your videos, your content, your thoughts, how you live your life. How thankful and mindful you are, how loving towards your family. It feels like watching a friend and you are surely a role model for me. I am hoping to be pregnant soon, we just had your second IUI after three miscarriages. I was listening to Lauren Elizabeth on the Toast talk about feeding her daughter solids and how fulfilling it has been to introduce her to new foods and it made me think of you - I know breastfeeding didn’t end up being the experience you imagined but I was thinking and hoping that feeding him solid foods soon could be such a redeeming experience for you! ❤️ You’re a great mom, I love seeing your perspective and positivity shine through (taking advantage of bottle feeding him being a hands free time for you, etc.)

My kids have both loved our splash pad in our backyard! They both started showing interest around 6-7 months, mainly when they are able to sit up and kinda splash around. Otherwise we have done bath time during the day on those warmer afternoons and just let them play as long as they want☺️

Love this!! When I was pregnant I made a list of things I wanted my children to see me doing and things I didn’t want them to see me doing (using screens for entertainment i.e.) so those things I save for his nap time! Also, I’ve been having the pancake bowl every morning since you shared on your insta story and it has been a game changer postpartum!! Thank you for sharing so much of your life ❤

I meant to comment on your last video about the Reflux. My daughter, who is 22 now, had reflux really bad. Her Pediatrician changed her formula many many times and nothing helped. Finally one pediatric gastro specialist told me that as soon as she started walking all of that would go away. So that lit a fire in me to get her walking quickly. Needless to say she was walking by 9 months and thankfully the reflux went away. I know this might not be helpful but know that this too shall pass. Wishing you and him better days ahead.

I bought a baby tent that’s meant for the beach to have outside that has a shade and I plan to use it where my baby can spend time with us out there while staying in the shade and I’ll use my stroller fan to attach to it and keep him cool. Also, I think if it’s super warm, just letting them chill in only a diaper and no shirt while outside as long as they’re in the shade is a great idea too. :)

Loved watching your morning routine with your sweet baby! ❤ we’re from the same area kind of and I’m on my second baby he just turned 1 and this just brings back memories of him being smaller. Texas summers are brutal I’m always trying to find ways to be out in the heat, I hope you can find some good ideas! We just try to spend a lot of time in the water and go out earlier in the day before it gets too warm ( i also have a 3 year old who itches to go outside everyday)

Beautiful video, thank you for sharing. You’ve got such a nice routine & it seems that you are able to be flexible with it…a must with an ever-changing little one. That bottle washer/sterilizer is amazing. When I was a new parent I was back at my full time job when my cherub was 12 weeks old. There was so much that I did after baby went to sleep, we had no other choice. That is when the bottle washing, prepping, exercising, laundry, & other household things happened. I’m fortunate to be a night owl who can exist (un-caffeinated) on 5ish hours of sleep…or my body adapted to what was available. We never know what we can do until new have to do it. 🫶🏻 Edited to add: As for heat, I had a July baby who loved to be outdoors (& was fussy inside) and liked the heat. I hated the heat and humidity (in PA). So, we sweated on each other, stuck to each other, & found as much shade as possible. The baby pool helps. 🌳🥵🌳

Re hydrangeas. Hydrangeas normally last through most of the summer. I'm in CA and I pick mine to dry on August. Check with your local nursery to make sure.

I can't wait till summer! I lived in Phx, AZ most of my life and summers were too hot to do anything outside (even swimming sucked once it was 118 out. The water would be too warm to cool you down) we moved last to northern midwest where the summers are beautiful most of the time. My son will be 6 months in June so I will be taking him to the children's zoo, state parks, walks around a trail near our home, and we also got a toddler pool for him and my neice (she is 1 year and a half) to play in

Look into taking cara babies. It’s sleep training, I’ve done it successfully with my first (5 years old now, did when she was 6 months) and currently doing with my second (5 month old). So helpful!

The hardest part for me being a mama is the waking up between 5-6 every morning. 😅I am not a morning person so this has been a struggle but also growing into a better person as well. Its just the constant journey of sanctification and becoming more like Jesus.♥️
