Another great one!! You have a ton to look forward to at 26!! You bought a house & you are graduating! Be proud because everyone who supports you is! Way to go Cassie 👏🏻
So refreshing to hear a non skincare/derm/facialist young woman NOT try to tell young women what works for you is for everyone. And actually also have so much accurate information thrown in while using products. Like why you use BHA and if you use AHA’s why you would do that. And the importance of sunscreen. Don’t sell yourself short. You actually give nice, level headed info on skincare, better than 99.9% of non educated influencers or models eith millions of followers on youtube. If I had a skincare brand, I’d look for you to be representing my brand, and pay alot for it. You’re doing a great job. 👍🏼👍🏼
could you do a video about your SLP journey and grad school experience and tips??? im in my undergrad for SLP at CSULB right now and im very overwhelmed about how to navigate my internships/grad school.
I definitely am going to do a video tailored to SLP and graduation and such! Any specific questions/things you'd like to hear from me? I'm not an expert, but would love to share my experience!
@@cassandrarandolph ahh yes! i’d love to hear how you got involved in your internships and how you found them! also how competitive was it for you to get into grad school? thank you!!! congrats on almost being done :’)
@@cassandrarandolph I would love this also. I am in my undergrad as well for SLP and about to start applying to grad school. What would love to hear about your journey, what your main interests are in, and how well undergrad courses helped for grad school.
@@raeganenda624 I’m not Cassie but I recently finished SLP grad school. In my program we were not required to find our own externships. We had a clinic coordinator whose only job was to coordinate clinical placements for the SLP grad students. She would send us surveys and ask us what we wanted and then she would select for us. It was very much you get what you get but she tried her best to make it a top 3 choice. Many schools have clinic coordinators BUT some don’t.
@@cassandrarandolph very cool how you take the time to respond to all of us. Shows that you are sincere and unique. God bless and hope you and your family are well during these unprecedented times.
Honestly you really inspired me to start a skincare routine when you first uploaded this video and I went and bought most of the stuff in this video! You should definitely do an updated routine ☺️
The acids could make your redness worse! I have red prone skin and my dermatologist told me how vitamin C, BHA/AHA and other acids can irritate and make the redness worse and skin more dry. So now I just use biologique recherche p50w as my morning cleanse, hyluronic acid , Biba peptide serum, and moisturize, then use Elta MD sunscreen. And at night time cleanse, moisturize(Augustinus Bader or first aid beauty both good) and apply a face oil like vintners daughter ! Helped so much with the redness/ rosacea prone skin . I’ll use retinol twice a week too - But your skin looks so even toned not as red so you probably aren’t as sensitive to the acids. Hope that helps a bit 🤍
Most skintypes handle acids really well. It’s common for folks with rosacea to not be able to use BHA, most AHA, retinols and vitamin C. I have rosacea and had to cut all those things once I realized it was triggering redness.
We have such similar face types with skincare. All of these products are good, you definitely have a great routine! I’ve been obsessed w skincare after spending all of 23 in quarantine. Makes me so happy to see you know what you’re doing and having fun! The vibes are good
I can’t believe I have lived in OC for 30 years and I have never been to Crystal Cove. 😔 The Beachcomber for brunch is on my bucket list for sure. Thank you for the recommendation for the powdered sunscreen. I didn’t even know that was a thing, but it totally makes sense to use something like that over your makeup... hours into the day.
Exactly.. I thought the same thing too. They can be used together like add vitamin c in the morning and then top it off with sunscreen and niacinamide for the night coupled with a good moisturizer.. Infact I’m kinda shocked she is also using bha exfoliant with it. And also adding lactic acid in the mix, another exfoliant. That’s 4 exfoliants in 4 mins.. But clearly it’s working for her
I love your videos :) I’m so glad you did a morning skin care routine because I recently bought all the things you did for your makeup routine and they are working our really well , can’t wait to buy a few of these things ☀️ also congrats on graduating this coming may 😊
So glad that you are loving everything! With skincare, usually it takes a month or few to start seeing results. You’ll have to let me know how it goes!!:)
Okay so I have been using almost all the same products for 10+ years and my skin looks NOTHING like yours. Very unfair! You have incredible skin, Cassie!
Hi!! Love this video and obsessed with your skin! Genuine question, have you gotten Botox? I’m turning 25 and was super interested in trying it out for preventative measures! 💗💗
Why no moisturizer aside from the eye area? Our skin often overcompensates in oil production for lack of moisture. This contributes to those red spots you mentioned on your cheeks.
First of all, you’re adorable. Second, since I’m closer to your moms age, I’d love to know her skincare routine. She looks amazing. Y’all have some good genes! Keep being sweet.
along with fillers, she most likely uses retinol...and possibly botox. her jawline looks very refined.. It would be nice to see her mom talk about what she does.. isn't ahe young? 40s?
I recommend you try the Peter Thomas Roth vitamin c serum it’s better than the one that you’re using. Also is it safe to use vitamin c and lactic acid and retinol at the same time?
@@cassandrarandolph the vit c serum you're using is one of the best in the business (I've not heard of PT Roth tho' 🤔). Vit C and lactic acid are perfect together in morning skincare but retinol should be used at night only and not with vit c:)
Congratulations on finishing your school and getting ur diploma. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in teaching last year and seems like it took forever to graduate and get diploma. So congratulations again.
I am LOVING the updated skin routines! Thankyou for sharing!! As a skin specialist I feel the need to just give you one tip: use retinol at night. Not just because it makes your skin more sensitive in the sun, but also because the sun will deactivate it! I know that brand is not cheap so I would just switch to the night time for the neck cream ❤️ love you and your videos!
good stuff Cassie... your a great endorser of beauty products... your naturally beautiful and humble.. good luck and best wishes Cassie and happy birthday .. Noel
You should check out Naturium’s BHA exfoliating toner or Biologique Recherche P50. There are a lot of different P50 toners depending on your skin but you can easily get a free consultation online on most of the sites that sell it to find out which one is best for you. They are my holy grails! Also check out Naturium’s vit c serum and niacinamide serum if you’re looking to try out new ones, they are also some of my favs!
I struggle with dry around the eyes and oily everywhere else is well! Can’t wait to try that eye cream. Also that Paula’s Choice toner is MY FAVORITE! Totally changed the game for my skin.
Oh it’s the BEST. I’ve heard that from some of my friends too (and myself lol) that the BHA makes such a difference. But yes, dry eyes is the absolute worst 😭😭 Let me know how you like it!!
Great job on your internships! As part of my BS in Human Services at CSUF I had to complete 3 semesters of internships so I know how exhausting and time consuming it can be lol on top of regular workload. Congrats on your accomplishment 🙌🏻😊 it such a good feeling. I love crystal cove also especially beachcomber. Also, great hiking spots nearby.
Youre not supposed to use Retinol during the day Cassie! Even if you use sunscreen on top. Be careful! Just found your channel. Your videos are lovely.
I would make sure the order is correct !!! It’s super important not to seal up the skin and then put more things on it the order is everything !!!! There is a fantastic Esthetician On u tube - who talks all about that ! Will post her name !! I’m finally trying to learn all about that too !!!
@@cassandrarandolph you may have noticed I'm very into skincare as well! Something you may want to look into is Curology. They customise skincare just for your skin. They have very helpful consultants who walk you through your skincare issues. Something that really works well with redness and acne is azelaic acid - curology could add that into your specialised cream. I think your mom would like curology as well! Keep up the good work and living your best life🙌Penny
