This is such a good routine. Here are a few points from a dermatologist’s point of view: Mask is not very necessary. Like she said can be used in days when you want to take extra care of skin. Always be gentle with your skin like she is. And yes damp skin absorbs ingredients better. Except when you are using a retinol or acids, then you want your skin to be dry to avoid irritation. Niacinamide green tea toner : though toners are a skippable part of skin care , if you want to use go for an alcohol free toner. Green tea is a good ingredient to have in your toner as it reduces redness and irritation and is soothing on skin. Niacinamide helps in reducing dark spots and also reduces acne eruptions Vitamin C serum : it is an antioxidant and best applied in the morning as it also provides protection from UV days. It helps in lightening faint dark spots. Also improves collagen synthesis and reduces fine lines. SPF with ceramides : a sunscreen is the most important part of morning skin care routine. Use a susncreen that suits your skin type. Cream or lotion based for dry skin and gel based for oily skin. Better to apply one sunscreen and then apply a tinted sunscreen on top of it. Don’t mix two products. Let one layer absorb. Sometimes different sunscreen ingredients may not be synergistic and cause the other ingredient to be inactive. Also we want a uniform layer of susncreen for adequate protection. Lip balm is an important part of skin care to reduce chapping, darkening. And yes lip balm can be applied on the eyelids and corners of eyes too. If you have dark lips go for a colourless fragrance free lip balm with SPF. Overall a great hassle free simple routine. This is what you need as consistency is always more important than using too many products when it comes to a good skin care routine.

These are some things I do that have helped me get skin free from acne and healthy, glowing all day long. - Use a gentle face cleanser that eliminates excess oil and cleanses your skin well. I recommend littlleextra rriiceberry face wash only as it balances the skin pH too. - Eat a healthy diet. Avoid oily, junk, and spicy foods. Opt for vegetables, fruits, and foods rich in vitamins C, E, A, antioxidants, and minerals. - Exercise aids clean impurities, so make sure to exercise regularly to cleanse your whole body. - Avoid touching your face often coz our hands are generally full of germs that can lead to acne when they touch the face. - Weekly, use an oil or serum for a facial massage to improve circulation. - Apply riceberry vitamin c face serum daily as it has antioxidant properties and it helped me fade dark spots and I got radiant skin. - Weekly, do a cleanup routine: cleansing, steaming, scrubbing, use a mask, and rub 2-3 ice cubes. - Clean your brushes and other items you use coz they can host germs that can cause acne when they come into contact with your skin.
