So proud of you Jay! This post is the benefit and beauty of being able to share, teach and encourage people. To encourage is to “put courage in” and that is the heart with which you do everything. Knowing you personally, I know that is the very strong calling on your life. Your transparency and humility bring strength and courage to many and will continue to do so as you allow God to lead you. Thank you J. Huge respect for your transparency, talking about direction, mental health & your relationship with God. Although I do watch your reviews on pedals, what I really love is when ever you do some ambient guitar. It's the kind of worship music I listen to when I'm reading my Bible & praying. Would you consider putting some longer tracks on RU-vid & maybe recording some tracks & making an album? Thank you again for your encouragement - we all need some now & again.

I’ve been watching pedal and gear review videos for decades and I can honestly say that your channel is amongst a few at the top of my list. From your playing to the lighting and background to your thorough and articulate reviews and chill personality, everything is done with excellence. Your videos are informative and entertaining. I especially love the recent addition of reels (short clips of your playing). Perhaps because you are an ambassador for Christ, the lack of desired growth is more spiritual than practical. Appreciate you brother and your transparency! I have had similar struggles at times with Voyage Of Sound. I don't wanna "make it" and I'm not doing it for money or fame but at the same time it feels sometimes like "am I making a difference at all"? It is easy to get discouraged but I am doing what Jesus called me to and I may not see the fruit now but that doesn't mean it isn't there. Stay strong in Christ!
