@@ladysadiejade Definitely do and see if you like it! What’s funny is that I don’t like it anymore; I don’t know if my body chemistry changed over time or what, lol! I know with Romance, they made a more intense version, called Midnight Romance or something like that. Maybe you’d like that one better?
Iconic! Wow, what a fab collection! I was around in the 2000’s but I never actually wore most of the perfumes you have, I’m curious about them now. Poison is one of my all time favs along with Dune, both Dior fragrances. I also have Sinner although I rarely wear it anymore but it is a good one and I’m a sucker for her packaging. Nowadays I mostly wear Body Shops Satsuma body sprays, I’m glad you reminded me of Poison, gotta wear that one again. I love the Playboy perfumes you have mostly because of the bunny ears, lol…oh yeah, I have to incorporate the word gorgina into my vocab 😆 xxoo
The packaging it so beautiful on the KVD fragrances. Even when they run out, I will keep them as display pieces. We don't have The Body Shop here in Tennessee, but I have always seen youtubes from outside of the US go there and I have always wanted to try it! I heard most of their stuff is vegan which is really cool. & LOL I have said gorgina for soooo long now and have had so many people say they have never heard it before! I started to think I made it up, but then I was watching an old episode of the Kardashians and Khloe said it, so I am thinking that it where I picked it up from. It is def on of my fave words tho LOL
Iconic! This was so nostalgic lol. I worked in a little clothing store around 2008 - 2012 ish and we sold super cheap dupes for all the popular perfumes of the time. When the store went out of business they let us take any of the store tester ones… I still have a literal huge box! I think I was the only one who wanted them so I got them all lol. A lot of these weren’t really my thing though… I prefer dark, heavy, goth scents. It’s funny you mentioned it, Kat von Ds Sinner is my signature scent… I love it so insanely much. I do the same thing, I use my last bottle for special occasions only. I would love to find a dupe for it though… nothing smells even close to that.
I enjoyed your collection and your unique point of view. I was in my twenties during the early 2000’s and I wore coco mademoiselle and cool water for women. Cool water smells like the early 2000s to me!
I graduated HS in 2004, and the perfume I remember wearing the most was Lucky You for her by Lucky Brand 🍀 So nostalgic, I recently repurchased it 🤭 Love your collection ❤
u totally are the goth paris hilton💘 i was in middle school 2000-2004 and the locker room smelled like angel and midnight bloom by victoria’s secret. both baby powdery which i luv. 💘💘
Awww... you have so much more than I even had back then. But a great collection for sure! I did recognize a few that I used. Have a wonderful Sunday gorgeous 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
As a child in the 2000's and with a mother that suffers from Multi-Chemical Sensitivities, the only ones I could use were a set of single note 10ml perfume tube bottles. She can only handle fruity smells (absolutely no flowers), so there was cherry, vanilla, coconut, strawberry, and blue/purple mixed berries. To me, those scents are what I find quintessentially 2000's. I wish I still had that no name brand mixed berry perfume...
DKNY be delicious is THE y2k scent for me, i remember the commercials for it, and it's still widely available! Another great early 2000s perfume is Pink sugar by Aquolina, it should be easy to find and at a great price too, but since you disliked the Lolita perfume it might not be a good recommendation since it does have a prominent licorice note. (I personally can't really smell the licorice all that much.)
I wish I knew more about fragrances. I really want to have a distinct go to one. Thanks for the tip to go to Ross for perfumes and stuff. Always nice to have a reason to go lol
Omg I had that ed hearty pink scent in highschool at one point! It was that and Victoria’s Secret: love spell / pure seduction/ lost in fantasy - which they don’t make anymore but if I were to smell that again it would take me straight back to 2005 🥹
