Sarah was so freaking brave, she could have been stabbed by her when she wasn't looking or turning her back. Also I'd be calling the police at the moment I saw her slashing at my portraits and taking video of it so I could sue her for that and get her for the meds as well get her to confess the same time.

OP should have called the police 👮 when he realized his medication was supposed to be given/taken for pain following surgery was missing as a result of his mothers theft/betrayal. When patients are legally able to possess controlled substances like prescription pain meds (it’s prescribed to them) and there medication goes missing, a police report is needed to lawfully have the prescription reissued because otherwise patients should they be unable to find the missing/stolen drugs. I want to know if they found and accounted for the missing medication or had to get a new script for OP. If I had a family member doing as OP’s mother did, I would have called and turned their behind’s into the police because I wouldn’t want an addict buying them. It’s people like OP’s mom and addicts that make it very difficult for people legitimately needing those medications to get them. Especially chronic patients with such debilitating pain they need them in order to live quality lives. If I were OP, I would forgive my mother to give me peace of mind. But, I would also be severing ties because she broke all trust betraying him in one of the worst ways possible. Mom literally preyed on his vulnerability under the guise of being the devoted mother instead mommy dearest was a predator needing to satisfy her own selfish desires. I hope OP’s mommy dearest will be held fully accountable and will have a long timeout in the form of a prison sentence upon conviction of her crimes.

You must forgive. However that doesn't mean that you have to reconcile. The mother would have to fully repent.

Mom belongs in prison. MShe inflicted pain on her skin, by diverting his badly needed pain medication, so SHE COULD PROFIT FROM THEM-AND GASLIGHTING HER SON ABOUT IT!

I would forgive but never trust again.
