These guys are exceptionally talented, and their arrangements are probably the most original out there. They can sing sweet enough to touch your soul (Bridge Over Troubled Water, True Colors), pull full-on theatrical performances, makeup and all (You're A Mean One Mr. Grinch, Kidnap the Sandy Claus, Oogie Boogie's Song), and yet also rock out hard (Carry On Wayward Son, or Queen In 5 Minutes). This is a group you won't be disappointed by- they always bring it.
VoicePlay is my favorite of all of them. Top notch musicians and performers. You commented that the beatbox (Layne) can also sing ... yep, and he's a drummer and formidable violinist as well. And the arranger for this one. Each of these guys is multi-talented. Best, they take music seriously, but they also like to have fun and entertain. Check their latest release, Hoist the Colors from Pirates of the Caribbean - I guarantee you that you will be blow away.
At the beginning... "They better bring their A game..." (Voiceplay) "Hold my beer" A few seconds in... "That man's voice was deep..." (Geoff a few seconds later) "Hold my beer" I'm really glad you reacted to this, if you want similar quality, check out 'Hoist the Colors'. Amazing! Thanks for your reaction! I also recommend headphones for anything Voiceplay does!
They want you to wear headphones because the bass (Geoff) does subharmonic notes. They rattle your brain! He also has his own channel where he does solo work. He wil magically multiply and then harmonize with himself🤯 I'm not tech savvy either, I usually end up looking for someone under 20 to help me😅
Oh it's illegal to listen with out high quality head phones and voice play is awsome also Geoff castiuchi the bass does solo works for the season headless horseman deep bass cover awsome
You done did it now! The rabbit hole is deep and highly entertaining!! These guys are what I consider to be the best. They just released another video a couple of days ago . It's Hoist the Colors from the third Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It has left many reactors gobsmacked! One guy forgot he was only wearing his boxers and jumped out of his chair!
Let me introduce you to Geoff Castellucci, AKA Odin's Horn. LOL He has a 5 octave range and hits subharmonic notes with a casual air. Far right it Layne Stein, beatboxer and amazing singer as well. He and Geoff are high school friends. Next to Layne is J. None, who has since joined the Navy and is no longer with them--for now. Middle is Jose as the guest star and has collaborated with them before. Eli, pronounced Ellie, is a long time member and has a phenomenal range as well, from deep baritone to first tenor. Follow the rabbit hole Alice, you'll not be the least disappointed! Oh, and you need headphones with these guys to really get the full experience. VoicePlay is the most theatrical of all the acappella groups and do a lot of Disney as well since they grew up in Orlando and worked at the theme parks.
VoicePlay are exceptionally talented. They sing, act, and produce the videos themselves. Geoff, the bass, and Layne who is the beatbox. vocal percussion, do most of the original arrangements, Eli (pronounced ellie) is the tenor and occasionally does an arrangement, also a lot of the lighting.
Next, check out Hoist the Colors, Bang, Carry on wayward son, Eleanor Rigby, queen in 5 minutes, and the rest of their playlist. Then, Oogie Boogie Song, Moana, and then run through Geoff's personal channel of bass songs...good stuff. Also check out Home Free for more a cappella- start with Bless theBroken Road, and then cruise their playlist, too.
If you love this one with them being Vikings. Next, you have to react to them being Pirates. Hoist the Colours from Pirates of the Caribbean. Just released last Friday. Also with Jose Rosario Jr. Oh and welcome to the VoicePlay rabbit hole. #TheatreKidsofaCappella.
@@AlphaandOmegaReactions I'll defiantly be here for anything VoicePlay and another group Home Free ( their more country). Both are my go-to Cappella groups.
Voiceplay pretty much always hit it. My favorite songs from them are Hoist the Colours, Halo theme song and Warriors. They have tons of amazing songs, but those are next level. I also echo the comment about headphones. They sound good without them, but you miss a lot of the subtle things going on and do not get the best mix of sound they work hard to achieve.
Update... They have released many more songs. Dragonborn Comes, Enemy, etc. Released a brand new one Friday, Running Up That Hill featuring Ashley Diane. Cesar is their newest member replacing I None. He fits in perfectly. His first video with them was Hoist The Colours. For a 5th they collaborate with other singers. Oh. And make sure you always watch to the credits. They are known for adding surprises at the end.
Welcome to the rabbit hole! Be sure to check out their Pirates of the Caribbean 3 song. It is stupifyingly good. One reviewer said it was like the descendants of the My Mother Told Me became pirates. Also check out Geoff's channel for his Over Misty Mountains Cold from The Hobbit. Outstanding! p.s. Get headphones! Even with my crappy ones I get so much more out of it, especially the bass and the percussion.
