Some great tips there, nothing too expensive either. I've got the same bottle carrier and manual pump and find them both very good. Other things I have added which work well are - a small handlebar bag with a clear waterproof phone slot, a rear bag with fold out side panniers (similar to the one Womble has), it has a rear pocket for tools and a front pocket for a waterproof cover. I find this great for either an extra layer, waterproof jacket, or for a trip to the supermarket - you'd be surprised how much you can get in the fold out side panniers. I did get a pannier bag, but find it more awkward to use at the supermarket. I also added an ABUS frame lock with attached chain which I find very good. My brothers ebike didn't have a bell, so I got a bell with hidden compartment for an Apple Airtag off Amazon for it. My ebike has Tektro brakes which have a built in bell on the left lever.
Very helpful vlog , just brought the tyres you recommended, wow 🤩 what difference it’s made to my bike( farfees ) 500w , just been for a long ride , so comfortable, and looks bad ass 😂😂
Thanks for the info John ,, noted all accessories there , out of the2 bikes being sat on the wall deciding between Engwe & Hygge . I may be going for the Hygge although rear suspension would be advantage , ,although the Engwe was my goto . what with the Hygge is lighter and your tip on the Zoom suspension seat , I may go for Hygee ,, Does the Hygee have the torque sensor ,, thanks again for your posting , a great help , as retired , not rode my other bike for about 5 years now , es E-bike looks adventurous for out door 👍🏻👌
Some nice gear John. I too recommend the tyre tube sealant, I used the slime version on my motorbike for years and it saved me from a very awkward situation when I picked up a nail at the french channel tunnel crossing passport control. It got me home with no tyre pressure loss. I like the helmet, it protects the back of the head as well as the front, so I'll be investing that one. Also, I liked what you did to the Engwe bike. Its a great bike. A great video John. Cheers. 👋🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦
Thanks for the comment, why do you say it needs a new chain after the new sprocket? I used the new sprocket on the original chain for hundreds of miles without any issue.
