Great collection. I lived next to Johnson Space center in Houston (Clear Lake City) Texas and went to middle and high school with the kids of the Astronauts, engineers, etc from NASA. A great place to grow up and great people to grow up with.

My SIL worked on all the shuttles, she installed the black tiles on the shuttle. We lived in Lancaster, Ca. , in the early days after the shuttle landed at Edwards AFB. The shuttle would be trucked back to Plant 42 in Palmdale, Ca. I would go watch the shuttle roll down the streets of Lancaster on it's journey to Plant 42. Plant 42 back then is where the shuttle was mounted atop the special 747 for it's trip back to Kennedy Space Center. Great days and a treat.

Every Bandai model of Space Shuttle Endeavor model I see on eBay are all from Japanese sellers and are always in the $2,000 zone. Same price I’d pay to stay at a balcony state room on a Disney Cruise Ship. It’s very rare to come across such a grail of a space shuttle model that act’s like the real thing in the $500 or $400 zone. Wish me luck on getting one soon. I’m a fan too of the retired Space Shuttles. I can’t wait to see the Shuttle Atlantis Exhibit at KSC soon.

There is actually a 6th space shuttle known as ENTERPRISE. It is the 1st space shuttle ever built. It never got to space and was used for testing on Earth. How did you not know that? Even tho you are like a fan of it bro.

Just wondering if you collect NASA toys if you have any knowledge of NASA uniforms/clothing. I acquired a 80's jumpsuit/uniform that was made by Avirex and it doesn't fit with space camp jumpsuits I've seen. I'm thinking it may have been worn by employee because Avirex I discovered made space suits in the 80's Any knowledge would be helpful Thanks
