Whenever I stretch my hair, I do it overnight and the scrunchies make ugly indents all throughout my hair, but I never redampen my hair first, so maybe that’s why?!?! I just stretch on my dried crunchy gel casted hair. Like after I dried it under the hooded dryer. I wonder if that makes the difference.
Yes, I would definitely try misting the section before you stretch it to ensure that the hair is malleable and elastic. Stretching your dry hair will result in those indents you mentioned. It’s usually a 1 day process but I went to bed before I could stretch it.
I mostly try and leave my hands out of my roots. But I will be coming out with more in-depth videos on how I maintain my natural hair through out the week as well. Coming Soon!!!!!
