That dresser is beautiful and has tons more storage. Modern furniture is just not made as well as vintage pieces. A real shame about the wallpaper (and ceiling) damage. Those doggos are so cute! The ones on the wall that is. Although the real ones are cute too. Kirby's love for cardboard boxes is really quite hilarious.

Try the stain touch up pens for the spots. The restore a finish just revitalizes and covers very small spots but I would use it over the whole dresser after the stain pen.

Hi Rose, I love the videos, a good way to see if hardware is brass is if it is heavy and putting a magnet on it if the magnet doesn’t stick it’s probably brass!

The dresser is absolutely lovely and will add a ton more storage space! The gold handles tie in nicely with the kitchen. The water damage from the A/C is awful; I'm so sorry. For wood stain questions, try Rockler. They have a fantastic local store here in San Diego, and the staff is very knowledgeable.
