My New BAI Embroidery Machine Part 1 - the delivery & initial set-up

Come along with me on this new and exciting journey! I purchased my first 15 multi needle embroidery machine! I selected the BAI 15 needle Mirror embroidery machine. I went from a single needle to a 15 needle! Wow, this is nerve racking but I'm excited. Take this journey with me as I figure things out. I'm looking forward to mastering this machine. Here in Part 1 I cover the delivery, move in and initial set-up. WARNING: My better half pitches a boggy when getting the machine downstairs to my studio so excuse me in advance for his behavior! LoL.

Here on my channel we will talk about every and anything sewing! My absolute favorite thing to do. Join me as I start this RU-vid journey. I will not do any one particular thing ie. pattern reviews or sew-a-longs initially. As I become a seasoned RU-vidr (goals) I may focus on a particular "thing!" But for now, let's get started on any and all things sewing!

I just picked mine up from the Houston Warehouse. It was the V22. Now let me tell you. Mine weighs 617 lbs. I needed 5 guys to help me get it off my truck. lol

🤣🤣 Dying laught. I told my son and husband look two people did hers. They said those guys could snap us in two! Sons football team is coming over tomorrow to help lift it 😂😂 wish me luck

OH, I read somewhere to remove the felt pads so that your thread doesn't get caught. So, I did that, too! I lost one thread so I've gotta learn how to thread this beast! :-)

On the BAI RU-vid channel there is a video for beginners and treading the machine. It’s a great step by step video! I ordered the thread nets and received them yesterday! I had a couple and they really do work in keeping the treading straight!

I purchased a huge floor lamp that I can use. I’ll show that tonight. I also have one of those magnetic lights that I’ll try tonight!

Got mine yesterday as well but too excited to get any pictures or video. Did a test last night and so far, all good! I have a 12 needle. Should haven't gone with the 15, right!

So excited for you! Awesome, you tackled it right away. I was so nervous on my1st test run. Lol . I kept me hand hovering over the emergency stop button! No a 12 needle is great! I got the 15 because I tend to stitch out designs with multiple colors!

@@SimplyQueenbySherell I was the same way. I also found out that the hoop sizes and the list on the machine are different because the sizes on the machine are the stitch area not the hoop size. Do you know what the float button is for? I float all the time on my single needle but I don't know what that is for...

I was lucky! Our sewing room is on the ground floor and the guys just wheeled it right in. Now to figure out the best light to see those needles! I'm not thrilled with the back light thingy but that is minor. I love how smooth it is and quiet compared to my brother PE800. And it trims jumps!
