Love your reponse "My goal is just to get an Aero-road". People spend too much time on finding reasons for a bike, the only reason anyone needs is - I love it and I'm gonna ride it a lot.
Haha thanks. Life would be so much easier when we embrace and be honest with our vain thoughts. Nothing wrong with doing things that makes ourselves happy!
Congratulations!! Nice bike! I've been drooling over that bike for a while. But I needed a new gravel bike. So, two days ago I bought the Cannondale SuperSix CX. It is so beautiful with the gray, black, and purple fade. Now I have save up money again for the SystemSix.
Haha I have a gravel bike and needed a road bike so i bought the systemsix carbon ultegra 3 days ago and its so much fun (like a fast sports car). Ur gonna love the systemsix
Thank you. Will try to showcase Pretty more. On a side note, there are only 13 units in Malaysia as of now. So if you happen to see a shortie girl struggling on road with this bike, 99% it’s me.
WOW beautiful bike, and review. And the content. Thank you for sharing. New subscriber here!!! I am contemplating of purchasing the 2021 SystemSix Hi Mod White frame.. and slowly building the superbike
more and more data showing even after 6% benefits usually outweigh (zing) costs with most true aero wheels and frames. the benefits at slow speeds are even more under-appreciated because ppl dont factor in that at slower speeds they are on the course longer and getting aero benefits longer. if you can handle the stiff-ness it is a great choice imo.
Terra, I put a set of Zipp 303 on the SystemSix and I guarantee it will climb like your other bike. The Knot 64 a weigh the same but do not spin up fast , you will feel the difference. And you should notice by now that at the same power you are over 1-2 MPH faster. See ya
Ah thanks for your input! Appreciate it. Just googled it and price seems reasonable. Yes I do think KNØT 64 is a little too heavy for me. I am also considering Roval CLX 50. If so, probably will swap my Corima 47 WS to Pretty and instal Roval on my handsome (Specialized+Roval)
Terra, keep it up ! 我也被你推坑成为骑车族了。but i only into folding bike & 只是 Ride on Sunday Car Free KL. 期待你更多的骑车影片。
Congrat! Welcome pretty…one question ask here,I think the most drag happen is come from our body instead from the bike frame,if you make heavier and lower front on handsome, not sure it will give us same speed?
Theoretically yes, and it’s doable. Just that probably we couldn’t discount the overall shape of an aero bike too - longer, thicker and tapered leading edge tubes. Having said that, not only most of the drag comes from the rider, also most of the power comes from the rider too. Bike makes little difference for an average cyclist like me. Hence the purpose is important. For me, I just wanted a beautiful aero bike. 😅
1. you bike fit before you buy a new bike. 2. or you take the bike geometry you are comfortable now riding as a reference. 3. is NOT purely about the seat tube height. 4. a shorter top tube is especially better for a lady.use a long stem compensate for better handling. 5. saddle for a lady is very import stay with the model of saddle you are comfortable for long ride. 6. Cannondale or the current Specialized frame aren't build to fit Asia petit woman cyclist at 157cm. 7. regardless of you core muscle you just too stretch out on the bike. 8. A 38 to 42mm depth wheelset overall is a all condition riding wheel. 9. cycling is the NEW Golf which have been going on for the pass decade.
I’m not so sure if I can agree with Point #9 or not. Today, you can get the latest Ultegra 12 speed Di2 rim brake complete bike for RM8,800. Brand new complete bike. Could you do that 5 years ago? Get the latest Di2 complete bike brand new at that price?, sure can ah?
Can recommend some shops in Kuala Lumpur ? Which can source for me frameset , groupset for road bike ? Am working in spore .. hence hope by doing so can save some money
GOD AFTERNOON. CUTE TERRA RIDES MERRY CHRISTMAS I WISH I COULD HAVE A MOUNTAIN BIKE TJIS,, COMING CHRISTMAS THANK YOU. IM FROM YRENE STREET MIRAMONTE LUKBAN PROVINCE OF QUEZON PHILIPPINES
Nowadays bikes are so expensive. But as long as it make you want to go out riding and keep you healthy is all worth it. ✨️ Enjoy your new bike. Finally not a Specialize. 👍👍 Ride safe 🙏.
@@bentan6218 that’s a perspective that I never thought of 🤔 I thought I was being silly and vain, but yes, when it makes me feel good, I do tend to ride more. Guess it forms a virtuous circle 😜 you too, ride safe!
She does requires a bit of strength to handle this bike. I tried to take her on a leisure spin (slower pace ie 30km/h cruising) as i was suffering so much that time. she is meant for speed.
@@terrarides Depends on your budget. Enve, Zipp, Hunt are popular. Also look at the china brands, Winspace, Farsports, Light Bicycle. But i would also say that unless you're crit racing, anything over 50mm is kinda pointless.
@@DanTuber cool! Thanks for your input. I have my Corima 47 WS on my Specialized Tarmac SL6 Comp and I kinda like it. For my new SystemSix, I Was considering the Corima MCC 47 as the design is so sleek and so cool - but the price is MADNESS. I’m a typical girl, appearance of a product plays a big role in consideration. 😂
I'm not sure if ,it's because of the aero bike geometry, but it looks like your reaching too far out to your handlebars, and that will give you a sore lower back and shoulders/arms.
Exactly my point, that’s why I was so surprised that I did not get any soreness after my first ride (a very taxiing 130km), also none after a couple of 100km rides after it. Sometimes it may look like it but it feels differently. Bike fitting is highly personalised and it needs constant communication between rider and bike fitter.
@@terrarides Oh good! As long as you're comfortable, then you can ride harder! I ride 60km on Saturday morning and 60km on Sunday morning. I average about 34 km/h. I have a 2011 Cannondale SuperSix Evo Sram Red with 80mm carbon wheelset. One day I'll buy an aero bike with electronic shifting!
@@marks4471 I am a weekend cyclist too! 80mm wheelset is madness 😂 about electronic shifting - I actually talked about it while I was filming but later on I decided to take it out when editing. I was being skeptical before I purchased it, I was even entertaining the idea of swapping to an Ultegra mechanical. As I heard so many stories about it- people forgot to charge, broke down for no reason, and got so screwed during ride when the gear couldn’t shift (at least you get better chance to fix a faulty mechanical gear shifter right there right then?) But after much thought, decided to give electric one a try. Well, It only takes ONE ride for me to fall in love! Shifting became so precise and so EFFORTLESS. It’s literally just at my finger tips, especially when I have baby hands. Normally I’d have to use some force to shift gear, and sometimes it would kinda affect my form and position especially when i am already squeezing the last bit of my energy out. I guess it worth the risk. Technology will only get more and more advanced and things will get better. 🍻
@@terrarides I do share the same skepticism about electronic shifting, but I do hear, like you've just stated, how effortless, precise and fast it is. I do like that my Cannondale weighs in at 7.5 kg, but I live in Florida, so it's mostly flat anyway. Congratulations on your new Cannondale SystemSix Hi-Mod!
Hi Terry Just came across your channel Great video and congratulations on your cannondale bike. I saw the wooden wall bike stand that you use on your wall. If possible can you let me know where I can get it from???
Thanks for watching my video! the bike rack was custom built by my carpenter. Had just engaged him again to draft and rebuild another bikerack to fir both bikes.
It does requires a bit of strength to handle this bike. I tried to take her on a leisure spin (slower pace ie 30km/h cruising) as i was suffering so much that time. she is meant for speed.
@@terrarides m sorry for offending but i see lot of pros riding bike size smaller then them and when in vertical, bike r always smaller then the riders hight so ........... 🔥🔥🔥
