Ayee nice car! I have a 1.8 Audi A3 Quattro (8V 2014). Panoramic, electric seats, lumbar support, ACC, B&O & plenty more. Love the quality and the EA888 Gen 3 engine. Solid purchase.
I have one in Daytona grey and black edition trim… lovely car, but it’s only five months old and already as quite a lot of rust around the breaks/inside of the wheels, which is quite obvious with the open spoke alloys. I had a similar issue with a Mk 2, a few years ago.
Black edition trim is awesome! 🙌 Yeah I’ve also noticed that the brake discs can collect a thin layer of rust/iron. But it’s usually after a few days of not using the car for me and using the car shines the brakes up again too.
@@The_Car_Yard yes, that’s certainly the case with the discs, but the non contact parts like the outside of the calipers or the ‘top hats’ also rust pretty easily on the surface. It’s a shame that the painted parts are only part of the spec for the TTS and above.
I don’t think you have an issue with the valves, mines the same. Minimal difference in sound between the different modes, however I’ve definitely noticed increased throttle response and sensitivity when in dynamic mode!
I think it would be less comfortable than the 18 or 19 inch wheels. However you don’t really buy a TT for comfort as it’s a sports car/small GT car. There won’t be a massive difference from my car to the 20inch wheel versions but you could always test drive them and see which you prefer 😁 however, 20 inch will defo be more eye catching!
I think they will one day become a modern classic, so as long as mileage isn’t too high you should still go for it when you can! It’s a great car and timeless design 👍
Look for some older models. I picked up a 13 manual TTRS with only 30k miles earlier this year, the car was spotless too! Save up and always keep an eye out, you'll have more options than you think you do!
Thankfully the interior doesn't have a huge screen in the middle that would date it, it's just clean simple design, and I think it will age fine on the outside too
