it is a great car, but at 4:39 you said you don't know how to use cruise I tell u that your wrangler didn't came with adaptive cruise option so you do not have it to use it, hope that you can add it
It is great to see how excited you are about your Jeep. There are tons of things you can do with your Jeep, side steps, sun shades etc. No need to go crazy modifying it. Have fun and enjoy the Jeep.
Your Jeep is beautiful! I just bought a used 2017 Jeep with 8,000 miles on it. I've ordered a Teraflex 2.5 lift kit, new wheels and tires. I can't wait for this upgrade. Your Jeep is so cool! Even though my Jeep is older, I totally share your jeep excitement! Enjoy!!
I am so happy for you. I ended up renting a Jeep Wrangler on the go and now, I am hooked. I am not a spring chicken so normally driving a car is just driving a car. However, this vehicle made me feel as though I was starting all over again. The engine was responsive and I grabbed my wife just go riding for hours. I was left with the thought of "when can I get my own". Your videos are a treasure. I am learning about all the options and am looking forward to the 2021 variety. Keep the videos coming. Stay safe. :D
Very nice and congratulations on your new JL Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited! I just ordered one 2 days ago, on November 12th, 2020. I look forward to watching more of your channel and seeing everything that you do to your Jeep, and all of the adventures that you go on! Last, please don’t ever feel like you have to apologize for having a “stump” as you put it. Your not having a single hand does not make you any less of a person. I can tell from this video that you are an amazing person and are beautiful both inside and out. And that is a rarity now days. I have a lot of experience off roading and have been doing it literally, my entire life. I was born in 1974 and was born and raised in Southern California. From the time I was born my Dad would take me off roading all over California, Arizona and Nevada. Then when I started driving, I started buying 4x4 trucks and have been off roading all over the United States, and Mexico. I always went off roading in my Toyota Tacoma’s but shortly after I got my drivers license at 16, I bought a 1980 Datsun 4x4 truck and started learning how to drive off road in it. If you ever have any questions about where to go, what things to buy or places to go, please feel free to hit me up and I will help you out in any way that I possibly can. You will find out that the off roading community is a very unique group of people. Generally speaking, almost everyone that does it is almost always willing to help other people out. Be it telling other people about where are good spots to go, to what group runs are happening and when and what will be needed to go on the group runs, to helping fellow off road enthusiasts if they break down and/or get stranded some place. Here are some tips that I will share with you. And if you already know any of these things, don’t think that I am trying to assume you are not educated or anything like that. I’m just wanting to share a few things with you in the event you don’t know them or somebody else doesn’t know them. 1. ALWAYS let at least 1 or 2 people know when you are going off roading, how long you expect to be gone and where you are going. This is especially true if you are going out off roading alone! In many places you do not have cell service and would not be able to call anyone if you got stranded and needed help. Then when you get home after off roading, call or text those same people so they know that you made it back home safe and sound. 2. ALWAYS bring a few gallons of drinking water with you, food that will last long term, toilet paper, large and heavy duty trash bags, first aide kit, whistle, high quality and bright flashlight, tool repair kit, one or more firearms if you can legally possess one and can legally keep it or them in your vehicle, a thick and high quality sleeping bag, fire starting equipment, at least 1 or 2 sharp knives, multi-tool kit, metal containers that you can cook food in, boil water in, and use as a reflective device, at least 2 or 3 changes of clothes for both extreme hot and extreme cold temperatures, and anything else that you may need to use for up to a few weeks should you break down and get stranded while out off roading. Out of these items, I bring lots of 550 paracord, granola or natural grain bars, honey because it never goes bad, makes any wild food you need to eat like grasshoppers, taste better and it gives you high but healthy calories needed if you are in survival mode. 3. If you do break down and your vehicle is not drivable, then stay with it! Eventually, help will come and find you! Sleep in your vehicle and be aware of any dangerous wildlife in your area. Especially if you are cooking food or have food out that may attract a predator, like a can of tuna. 4. In addition to your Jeep Rubicon being a 4x4, it also has a sway bar disconnect and both front and rear lockers. If you are driving on technical terrain, don’t shift into 4 high or 4 low when you need it. Same thing holds true for if you need to lock either the rear or both axles. As you get more experience off roading and you start to learn how your Jeep Rubicon will react in certain conditions and/or terrain, remember to set your Jeep up for what it is needing before you start on the technical part. If you’re rock crawling and going up a steep hill, you may just want to keep your Jeep in 4 low with both axles locked and the sway bar disconnected. If you try and do those things as soon as you hit a very technical area, it may be to late. You’re now either stuck and cannot get out or you are now in a situation to where the way the gears are, nothing wants to engage. This is especially true if your Jeep is still pretty new and nothing is broke in yet. 5. When going down a steep hill, definitely make sure that you are in at least 4 low and let your vehicles gearing keep you going down the slope or hill at a slow speed. You can use your brakes but let your vehicles gearing act as the primary tool in keeping you from going down hill too fast. 6. Learn to take the proper lines so your Jeep has a smaller chance of receiving trail damage. 7. Watch your engine and transmission temperatures. If they start getting to hot, especially in summer, then stop, pull off the trail if you can and then let everything cool down. It may take an hour or 2 to cool everything down properly but it’s better to pull over and/or stop on the trail assuming no one is behind you, than blowing up your engine and/or transmission or at best, doing permanent damage to them. Something that you can do to help that is to run full synthetic motor oil and gear oil. The best synthetic engine oil and even gear oil is Ams. Royal Purple and Mobil 1 synthetics are also very good too. Those are the only 3 brands that I will ever use and they all do amazing work at protecting your internal engine, transmission and axle components. 8. Always be cognizant of your approach angle, departure angle and roll over degrees. Thus why you always go slow. 9. If you’re unsure about your own driving capabilities and/or your own Jeep’s capabilities, then follow your gut instinct and don’t do what you are not comfortable with. Especially if your alone and are off roading. 10. A high quality winch will become your best friend! Same thing with an off road vehicle jack, recovery gear like shackles, ropes and so on. These can all save you from getting stranded and/or breaking something on your Jeep. Good luck and welcome to the off road community!
Happen to see this video looking at different 2021 Jeep Wrangler videos. I just picked up a 2021 Sahara Altitude last week and love it! What made finding this video even more awesome is the fact I have an almost 2 1/2 year old daughter with a left arm limb difference just below the elbow. Amazing people like you will be an inspiration for my daughter Emma 🧡❤️ 😀
Ugh Jeep Wranglers are my Dream Car! I’m so happy for you! You work so hard and bring so many smiles to people! You deserve to achieve all your dreams! I’m so excited to see all your adventure Videos!!
This was literally me when I got my Jeep just a few weeks ago. The remote start is my favourite feature. I know nothing about off roading but looking forward to it.
Congratulations and welcome to the jeep family! Time to get some rubber duckies and enjoy the ducking jeep fun. Can't beat the rubicon trim level wrangler. I love my 2012 jku rubicon. I'm curious if the back seats are more comfortable in the 2021 vs mine. My kids would like mine to recline a little more to be comfortable.
I currently have a Nissan and I can't tell you how long i've been wanting a Jeep!! I'm trying to save up so much money so I can finally get my dream Jeep! This definitely makes me more excited and ready.
I grew up in a country were jeeps were the pivot of our economy a long ago, and in some way still are. loved this machines back then. love this machines still today. Enjoy your beautiful white Rubicon !
I just LOVE your new ride Kristie!!! 😊😊😊 I can't wait to see you cruising with the top off!!! Those will be amazing videos!!! Next time I'm in Vancouver I want to go for a ride!!! I HOPE that is sooner rather than later! 😉😉😉 Take care my dear! 💪✝️❤
@Kristie Sita. Congrats on your new Rubicon, it is very nice. FYI - The stuff in the back cargo area is not a soft top; It's a protector for your Freedom Panels (for when you take them off). Enjoy your new Jeep, I love mine.
Welcome to the Jeep family. I have a 2018 Wrangler Sahara, not as loaded as yours but it works. You will have so much fun with your Wrangler. If you haven't already just join a bunch of local Jeep clubs, a lot of members post trails in BC that are good for beginners that are not too far a drive from the Lower Mainland. Have fun and keep on Jeepin!
I have a 1995 Jeep Wrangler and I love love love it!!!! But after seeing your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon I really want to get a new one!!!!! It’s so awesome!!!
Couple of minutes in .... "let me take you into the back of Jeep" ummmmm sure. Plus, "I just stick my stump through here" lol. So awesome. love your jeep. Glad you are super happy with it.
Kristie I pick up my Jeep rubicon 3 months ago and I just driving it. I have a bright white with all the gadgets. I short so I just stand on the rock sliders and pull myself up. My interior is saddled color and the dash black the color inside is beautiful didn’t want the black as to gets to hot . I’ve taken the front tops off as the back ones you need two people, Im happy with just having the front tops off.. there’s a few up grads that I want to do but nothing too much I love it just the way it is. Don’t forget the fire extinguisher very important. I don’t want you best of luck with it. Be careful cause it’s bigger thAn most cars. You video great.
That car is my dream car, same color, same everything!! but I couldn't pay attention that much because I was hypnotized by you, you are soo beautiful, I love your energy ;)
You have such a beautiful personality and it was very refreshing and enjoyable to watch your review of the Wrangler. I, like you have watched literally hundreds of videos on JL Wranglers in anticipation of the arrival of my 22’ Rubicon Unlimited custom order. Should be in next week and I cannot wait 😭Thanks for the good content, you earned a like and subscribe
absolutely beautiful, matching white roof and black trim. unfortunately I only like the two door version. but of course having family and friends the 4 door is necessary
I’m sure you know by now, but the thing that you said was the soft top should be the bag to put your two front top panels “freedom panels” when you remove them so they won’t get scratched :)
Best JL Intro Video ever! Some Off-roading stuff. Some window heating. Some beep beep on parking. Differences 2020 2021? Who cares? I drive 30-50 almost All the time and when I fall asleep it automatically stops. The car is beautiful and that’s all that counts. My suggestion for your first and maybe only mod. Get the front camera (yes your wrangler has one) from the grill to the inside and have it live streaming all the time. 😉
Hey lady! you are so sweet! the Red latch under the AC bottoms in the dash board are the Rubiccon's strong points ! these are differentials front and back locks for extreme off-roading! this is the dream of every off-roader ! Differential locking is something which does not come in most of ordinary 4X4, so enjoy it. These should only be engaged at very low speed and in case of loosing traction (please read about it before using, as it may harm your car if used the wrong way)
Congratulations Rubicon top of the line for off reading , I loved the solid white color and black interior, enjoy it and please do share your experience/videos with us , stay safe and God bless always 😊
Congratulations on your new 2021 Rubicon!...I'm watching this as I sit happily since I just bought my dream vehicle, also a 2021 Rubicon, 3 hours ago. :-)
I just got my 2021 Rubicon also! Great job with the video! I fond myself driving slower too! LOL but I love this vehicle! Was in an Escalade before and I don't even miss it!
First off, congratulations on a beautiful Jeep Rubicon. Second, I hate you because I want one. Jk!! Love the Reddish/Maroon on the dash. The first time you take it off-road I bet you fall in love with it even more. Enjoy, and look forward to your adventures. And I’m a first time follower and Jeep videos will get you a ton of new followers. And your enthusiasm is infectious!!! Merry Christmas from Texas!!!!!!
Hi kristie you both go so well. Beautiful memories to be made and some amazing Adventures await. I love it my favourite vehicle hope to get one some day well i hope so. Keep on smiling mark a destination and explore💛🙏🏻
Well, you make it very obvious. That is your dream machine. I am so happy that some of your dreams are coming true. I hope the rest of your dreams follow suit in the future. You’re an amazing person.
Any cons to the car? How good is it on gas and how often do you have to do maintenance and all? I reallyyyy want a wrangler but I don’t want any crazy issues
I have a Jeep Sahara but would love a Rubicon but they are so expensive! Your payments must be over the top! I had to lease mine just to have a reasonable payment! Did you get the V6 or the 4 Cyl turbo?
Awesome vid! The 2021 Jeep is a beast! Makes me want one again :) Ceramic coating maybe a good idea if you intend to go on gravel roads or mild off roading. The road to Chilliwack lake has a mild bumpy, gravel road some pretty cool views, and not too narrow. There is a little hike to Lindeman lake on the way to Chilliwack lake. Roughly a 45min hike with an extremely cold beautiful lake. At Lindeman there is a cool view of a mountain with rocks that look like gargoyles. Nice mild Jeep trip. * Always remember to keep distance from cars infront of you on gravel, dirt, roads to avoid rock chips to your beautiful Jeep :).
i want a white 4 door jeep rubicon so bad aha. i want it to have red leather interior to be specific. it’s my childhood dream car. ive grown out of wanting it, but since i wanted it for so long and so badly as a kid, my goal in life is to get it.
Love it!! I got an old school TJ Jeep (2003) a month ago as my weekend fun ride. Kick up mud or keep it as a pavement Princess! Enjoy the ride!! (Jeep wave) 👋🏽
Jesus......that is a SERIOUS jeep. Im Jelly :(+ For me, 80 CJ7 Laredo/97 TJ Sport/91 YJ Sahara/81 J20 Pickup/97 ZJ Orvis/04 Limited cant remember what (x)J those are.
When I first got mines, I did not notice the wind noise right away (keep in mind I have a light bar). Until I turned the radio down 😂. But over the years I grown so use to it I no longer notice it. But again my radio is always on.
