Hello, everyone. It's been a long time. I'm now living and teaching in China. I thought I would share my living conditions with you to show you what one teacher's home life is like. Enjoy.

Chunk it up in several parts(no pressure-like riding a bike), so it will give you something purposeful to plan and execute at your leisure(you noted you are a tad bit busier these days and rusty😏) besides, it will give us-your loyal subbies and newer subs, something to anticipate. Guess I could've just said, "yup."

4 years ago I watched some of your videos showcasing life working and living in Korea and was inspired to do the same. I lived in Korea for 2 years as an English teacher and it's some of the most memorable times in my life, and I got you to thank for that. Happy to see you again.

Like everyone else, I was so happy to see you alive and well! I was in China (Dalian) for a 6 month contract - I swear, the furniture comes stock for all apartments! Had the exact living room and bedroom setups!! Brought back fond memories! Stay safe, and thank you for posting!!

If I may suggest? Move the microwave to the other end of the counter. If you have a flash burn on the stove, you could damage the microwave. Just a safety thought.

Hi stranger! I lived and taught in Ningbo for 2 years. Most apartment complexes looked the same. My apartment was 2 bedroom and the building was 4 years old. I enjoyed my school, the students and the teachers on staff. Many of us were Aussies, NZ, From UK and Canada. Not many Americans. Hope you’re well considering the current world situation. Take care

Btw, those apts looks really nice.... from all the videos from serpentza and laowhy86 I was used too seeing buildings that started to fall apart few months after they were build. Seems like Huawei takes care of them.

Yea... Very different from my times living in an Office-tel in Seoul. I would forget to lock my door and Koreans would walk in without knocking, thinking I was an insurance office all the time. I was also able to open the small fridge whilst still in bed.

I don't know which country you come from, but the Chinese bedroom must have windows for lighting and ventilation. Therefore, I personally think that this is the correct way to use a room with windows as a bedroom.

Mixed feelings One things for sure: very happy to see you living in decent apartment and... alive.lol It's just that most RU-vidrs left China and watching your videos from Korea while having lived in China was a way to escape the reality of Mainland. Although I admit BJ is NOT China. I wonder, which province is this? 2000¥/m. is not a 1st tier city.

this is Dongguan. Definitely not a tier 1 city, but may become one in the future. It may be governed by Shenzhen in the future which may change its status
