Welcome to my journey to the 2023 Fort Worth Mustang Show! My mare is a four year old from Coyote Lake Oregon. We have four months to train for the show and then compete undersaddle. Howdy! My name is Camille and I have a passion for gentling wild mustangs. Wild horses and burros are overpopulated in the western United States, so to keep population numbers from rising, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) periodically gathers wild mustang and offers them for adoption to eligible homes. I train mustangs to make them suitable for domestic lives and to show the world how amazing these underdogs can be. Subscribe to follow along with my mustang journey!

She would have been my pick as well. She is weak from good feeding since she was taken from her Mother, this is why, maybe she has no muscles behind her shoulder blade's, but, I just know you noticed this , and have the knowledge to build her up slowly and surely as time goes by. I am excited for you to have this beautiful Horse. Later on,she could have a splendid Foal if bred from the best Mustang Stallion. I forgot that many mustangs are rope shy. Tends to be involving how they were treated when initially rounded up. But, giving them better experiences with ropes they calm down pretty quickly.

Quick question. Once the mustang is gentled do they still require 6ft tall fencing or will standard fencing suffice. In other words, does the entire ranch need to be refenced with taller fencing if it is shorter or does only the 24x24 gentling/training pens require 6ft tall fencing in order to safely own mustangs?

In general, once they are gentled, regular horse fencing is sufficient.

Love seeing this but please fix the music in the future. Its too loud and doesn't match the action on the video. Something acoustic I think would make more sense
