MY NEW DRUMSET! Pearl Session Studio Select - Ice Blue Oyster 

1st time visitor to your channel - that's a great sounding kit. Congrats, and well done. I used to have a Reference kit I loved but sold a few years ago - I may have to start looking for a set of Session Studio Selects. I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

Not trying to be "that guy" but the shell make-up is 4 outer plies of birch and 2 inner plies of mahogany. Cool kit!

I bought pearl 5.5 ×14 snare which sounds fantastic! Different tone than my Ludwig classic maple set. I'll tell you, l would buy pearl studio select set in heartbeat!

22x18 was a think in the 90s, what you have and smaller is by far more common over decades. Also has more low end than an 18 deep

It can also suited best in rock version & jamming a lot loud & yeah!!!!!!! Has a nice funk tone that will make you go wild & listening to it makes you motivated so much!!!! 🥰🥰 My favorite cymbals in the drumkit is the Zildjian A 18” Crash & the Zildjian S 20” Rock Ride 🥰🥰. Lemme tell you what I love in these cymbals!!!! 😘😘😁😁On the ride, it has a perfect tone on its body that matches jazz genre & has an aesthetic & templatizing bell that has a super duper awesome ping sound that makes me go crazy 🤪🤪 & my body actually reacts & goes to a different level upon hearing it & yeahhhhh 🥰🥰. On the crash, both cymbals have an awesome brilliant bronze finish & one of my favorite crashes in the world 🧡🧡❤‍🔥❤‍🔥. I was wondering if the crash cymbal can be a crash/ride cause its bell is so thick & big probably has a good tone even though you didn't use it in the video 🤔🤔, but for sure you have already probably use it in your previous ones or other drum covers, etc? I kinda like the sound... BUT... My Yamaha Stage Customs sound way better. (Half the price) Even with old heads, they really sing and have a lot of volume. After watching many reviews, these are kinda dead sounding to me. I do like the tone they put out, but I like more volume and sustain. Thanks for the video!
