I love the HTTYD books, movies, shows, everything! I can see how this would be like Berk's dragon training program in the books if the books weren't for a younger audience. This makes me want to see a version of HTTYD for adults now... Hiccup trying to get through and Camicazi helping out where she can. Fishlegs visiting from the Scribe Quadrant, Stoick being the general...

Only thing FW has in common with HTTYD is that is has dragons

It mimics a lot of other popular and classic fantasy as well. It’s kinda crazy. It’s not a very original book.

I totally feel that! This on was super fun to read, definitely not the most sophisticated prose but a really good time nonetheless

I’m a big Xaden fan as well! I am definitely liking this romance over ACOTAR’s so far!

I read ACOTAR then moved to Fourth wing and Iron flame then went back to ACOMAF after and I realized Rhys was like the inspiration for Xaden but the execution for Xaden’s character took it to a whole new level 😮 like Xaden is what Rhys could’ve been

@@opheliawinfrey9501 yes. Prose is weak, full with plot holes. Can’t be more predictable. But seriously. If the sister of the main character will say to avoid the guy -> he will be that guy. If the guy hurts verbally the main character but “by accident” he is very attractive -> he is the guy. Of course she will have the most badass dragon. The writing is just.. “You. Never. Use. This. In. Dialogue. Because. This. Is. Dumb. Violet.” And not once but in every chapter. Even Twilight had more realistic dialogues and that’s not a big achievement. Eragon was really a better story and never forget Paolini was young when he wrote that as a first book. She is not young and this is not her first book. This feels like a draft version that missed the editorial stage. Absolutely awful writing level. She just didn’t care to make a quality work, outside the.. romance that is h@rny drama again: predictable. And really was important to write h@rny dragons???

I liked Twilight, didnt really like Divergent all that much but I loved this book. But I admit I liked the book more for the world and the dragons than the actual romance.

As far as I know there is no difference in the editions. The initial print run with the sprayed edges was just a limited edition printing! There is another edition with a red cover and sprayed edges that includes bonus chapters.

I would not recommend this book for readers of that age! The content is mature
