I just added a new music-making gadget to my arsenal, and it might be my favorite so far. This video is a bit of an overview of functions, as I build a simple loop.
Wow I was wanting to run these (the kp2s and ko2) into my daw via and interface but had no idea about importing the saved files into a DAW! Thanks for that insight? Also Gesundheit!
ha! thank you, I am a sneezy boi! and yes, I love how easy it is to bring stuff into Ableton or Logic to keep working with the loops. I love those gadgets!
I really appreciate you showing the potential of using your DAW to be able to further edit. I wish there was a midi in out function so I can use my Beat Buddy to work the drums and drum rolls. O well you can't have everything. Especially at this price point. I am going to buy one of these as a result of your video. I have the mini Kaos pad and the sound effects are good. There is just no way to record loops. Thanks again. Looking forward to seeing more videos with the Kaossilator in the mix.
thank you! i actually intended to do a lot more videos where i bring these sketches into Login for further refinement. so your comment has reminded me to get back to that! so thanks! and yes, the kaoss pad mini is great for performance, throwing some effects on incoming audio, but i love looping so much, and the kaossilator is great for that. especially since it saves each "layer" out separately! so cool! anyway, when you get one, i'd love to see what you make with it.
@@daspetey Here is a link to a video I did with the Korg M1 iPad app. I cheated and ran it through a Strymon Bigsky. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bARp66Yj6Kc.html
@@rockawayu.s.aaudiovisualst4384 ooh!!! nice man! i love the long ambient loops you're making with it! super cool! i have such an odd collection of loopers now, i tried doing a similar thing to get longer phrases in. i tried having each looper set to a different loop length, to see if i could get some nice asynchronous stuff going, but it sort of fell apart! ha! your video makes me want to try again though!
can kaossilator also be as mp3 player, can it play backing tracks as kaoss mini pad? Im playing didgeridoo in live and using some already created loops, in this case kaossilator would be awesome gadget, if i could play backing tracks + jamming in live some crazy synth sound.
@@vaaksvakuums no, i'm pretty sure only the kaoss pad mini does that. which is one of the separating factors. the kaossilator does looping, but not mp3 playback. the kaoss pad mini does mp3 playback and fx, but doesn't really do live looping.
