I really appreciate how well rounded you are in your cooking skills. Everything you have made, you use so much intention in it and you know the ingredients and respect the cultures.
Just wanna say I’ve tried your recipes, and recipes from more “famous” food/cooking RU-vidrs and yours are always the best hands down 🤩 can’t wait to see you glow up the way you deserve!!!!
I didn't realize making lo mein would be so easy. I'd still it five stars because the noodles are the best part. It was nice to see your mom. She's quite beautiful.
Thank you Jordan! My bf's chinese and ive always been intimidated with cooking him classic chinese food bc it may never match up to his expectations 😂 but im definitely gonna try now!!! 🤤
This looks GOOD! You’re not kidding…it is definitely getting out of my comfort zone to go to an Asian market (or Middle Eastern/Mediterranean, or Indian, or anything) but it’s something I plan for in the future! Gonna watch this again when the time comes!
Just a heads up, I’d think about changing the thumbnail! In many Asian cultures sticking chopsticks straight up in a bowl of food is seen as major disrespect. It derives from resembling funeral offerings such as incense for the deceased. The food looks delicious though! You always kill it.
You can skip the Asian market and head to Walmart or your grocery store 🏬 and get all the same ingredients from there. I have all those ingredients and mine are from Walmart
I really wish i could be one of your food testers lol. This looks so good and stir fry is my favorite. Thank you for making this i might need to make a run to the store for the ingredients.
I love how honest you are with your videos..you said could of been better…nobody would ever say that… that was pure honesty..that’s makes you an amazing content creator I love your videos and your recipes
Aww your mom 😊 Chicken lo mein is my absolute favorite dish when I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always wondered how they make it so good! Def making this for one of my meal prep days.
Ey-yo! This looks 🔥. Would love to see Thai or Ramen to make at home ! And I would totally quit my job and travel with that $100 million! sorry Jaclyn 😬
I don’t like cooking but I love watching your videos and trying your recipes. We did the steak sandwiches for my birthday last weekend even! I use your recipes when I want to make something 🔥
Can't wait to try this, looks great!! I live in rural NH so there is no such thing as a local Asian market. My local grocery stores do not carry many items but thankful Amazon does. My local grocery store does not have Lo Mein noodles and Amazon only has dry. Any suggestions for a comparable substitution?
Using the words "weird and uncomfortable" to describe an experience at an asian market is an interesting way to start a video that has asian influence. There was definitely a better way to say what you meant
When you have to buy something specific for a recipe, like the Shaoxing wine, how do you use it without it just sitting in your cabinet going to waste unless you make lomein again? That’s my trouble when trying new recipes :(
Thanks for this, I've wanted to try and make this for a long time. Shocked that I have everything but dark soy and the wine! I'm excited, you're the best 👍 Yay China!
Loved this so much! I’ve been studying this week on Chinese dishes. I want to learn to cook Asian food the best I can do this video couldn’t come at a better time.
@@FarnumGrindtime 7:16 you said olive oil and I was driving while listening 😂 I guess you did use avocado oil the whole time, why would you switch it up? 🤪
Do you pin all your recipes and stuff on Pinterest? If you made a spot online for your videos and recipes I bet your views would SOAR. You deserve the best because your videos are AH-MA-ZING. Like your personality and everything is killer.
I’m over here eating box pho and pissed as shit you just dropped these noods and I’m just now seeing it🤦🏼♀️ Can’t wait to make these 🤤 Ps every recipe I have made of yours my husband hasn’t once complained. Loved all them and he’s a tough Greek man with his food 🤣
Yummy! Tell Jacklyn I got my new jewelry today! I love it! Really love the cross rings; I got them in silver and gold. Now I just need the earrings to match! LOL! Love both of ur videos!!
Ok, FIRST of all, your mom is the cutest thing ever!! You and Jaclyn both have some seriously good genes in your families. You’s guys are about to have the MOST good looking kids on the planet (along with mine, of course)!!!! And, second of all, I ain’t even the biggest fan of Chinese food (I was once, but had a horrible experience that turned me off for a lifetime!), and even I’m going to make this!! This looked completely fire!!! 🔥
Yummy this looks delish!! I am so gonna have to try this!! Also where did you get those bowl sets I would love to see a video and you link where you bought lots of your dinner ware sets / kitchen stuff !! China has the most amazing dishes ❤️
slowly becoming my favorite channel to watch and get dinner inspo from. easy, informative, and quick which are 3 of my favorite things! can you do more asian cuisine? & possibly give a “healthy”/lighter but still flavorful option for people who can’t have that many carbs?
No criticism here promise but finally a recipe for us brits to use my future husband and my 1 and a half year old will be all ove this so excited thank sweets 😃😃😃😃
This looks fab! So funny that I made chicken lo mein for the first time earlier today, before I saw this video. Mine used hoisin sauce and I added garlic chili crisp, but I love the looks of your recipe. Please, though - don’t sauté in olive oil. It doesn’t stand up to the heat and is bad for you at high temps. Use avocado oil instead (or lard, or ghee, or duck fat, or coconut oil, or tallow…).
I have followed Jaclyn for years, and she always raves about your food and how amazing the flavor is! I checked out your channel and you have my mouth watering!!! Fantastic filming, the food looks amazing, and your personality is top tier! I love how real and authentic you are it makes this channel feel comfortable and just a safe place for those that love cooking, or those that are just getting started. As for me, I am getting married in June and I have been wanting to learn to cook more! You make this look so much simpler than other channels I’ve seen. I will try this out and tag you on Instagram! Keep shining Jordan! Can’t wait to see the places you will go.
