I am not a CARAT, but I do love their music and their choreo. honestly, if you have eyes you should be able to see how hard working they are, its so clear. They are so underrated. Yes, you guys should be proud and loud. They are amazing.
Their choreography gets better for every cb- yes where is the lie. Also it’s rare to see a group having so many choreo where two chorus parts have different moves and formations, it’s so impressive. The best performance group hands down.
That's why every concert you can hear hoshi shouting to encourage the members who are already tired. I remembered that they performed three performances in an award show and you can see at the end of their performance that they are so tired that's why hoshi shouted when they performed thanks (thanks is one of their performance in that award show)
I think you are referring to the Gaonchart awards they've performed My I as an intro, then Crazy in love, Don't Wanna Cry and lastly Thanks. Every Gaonchart awards performance of Seventeen is legend.

i don't know if u can still remember but "Thanks" is the intro song for their Hit The Road documentary. It is also a song they dedicate to CARATS. At 7:41, if you're going to look at it, they are forming "T", "H", and "X" (thx) which is a shorter version of thanks. they also incorporated a lot of sign languages in the choreo.
You may already know but CALL CALL CALL was actually their Japanese debut song. They decided to make their debut in Japanese with such a banger after releasing Thanks. That is why we love SEVENTEEN.
Doesn't matter how many times I've heard the song or seen their stages... I still got chills and teared up when "Thanks" played. It's still one of my favorites. And yeah... The hand movement you noticed in Seventeen's "Thanks" is the word thank you in Korean sign language. So "Thanks" is a fan tribute song where they are saying thank you to Carats for loving and supporting them all this time and they are even acconologing the deaf community. Because what Seventeen does is more than just music, it's art that everyone can enjoy. Yes, as you noticed, in "Call Call Call" Seventeen are portraying three different types of biker gangs who are rivals. The members who are in the leather are supposed to be part of the more hardcore biker gang; the member who are in the really dapper suits, who are more clean cut, are supposed to be members of the scooter gang; and the third group are part of the tricked out, more fancy bike gang. Each of the motorcycle/scooter gangs represents the three units of Seventeen -- performance unit, vocal unit and hip-hop unit. They are all fighting to be the ones to answer the call of Carats (the name of their fans) and to fulfill our wish. If you look up an English translation of the lyrics, the whole story is much more clear.
There are three gangs I think? The leather jacket, the suit, and the ones in the retro looking room (???? Idk how to describe this one, but it's the one with Vernon, Dino, etc).

This is why Seventeen deserves to be best performance group. All their choreographies are so complicated, skillful and demanding but they keep their energy up and perform perfectly. So in sync and charismatic too.
thanks is a song that expresses seventeen's greatfulness towards carats. I believe the mv represents the whole entire creative process behind making a song, lyric writing with the vocal team, dance practice with the performance team, and the recording studio with the hip hop team. I think it represents how they constantly keep carats in mind throughout their work :) at 7:37 if u watch the choreo from a birds eye view, they actually spell out t-h-x and also included sign language which I think is at the end when they hook their pinkys
THANKS is the best song of seventeen, it is very well produced... I wish they were more recognized because they are very talented and don't have any bad songs.

Seventeen choreo so perfect and amazing. They are so famous for that, but sometimes people forget how amazing their music production, vocals and raps are. Love that SVT getting much recognition these days. SVT is a all-round group
You should know about the concept behind the thanks MV then.. here in the 'Kumapta///' the pre chorus part DK in the middle and other members facing down and they are getting up as the word "THX" symbols in the sign language.. they are actually mean it.. even in the choreography.. and in the Pretty U MV also. Jeonghan poking his cheek by his right point finger. It means 'you are pretty' in sign language.... That's how Seventeen is. They are making they're music which could understand to their every fan without dividing them from there abilities.... They really mean Carats are their strength..... That's why carats will never leave Seventeen..
That comment about their back to back song performances at concerts or award shows- i agree, it must be so exhausting! I think an award show performance where I can clearly see how taxing the choreos are is in the Gaon Music Awards 2018. Their setlist for that award show was just insane. First they had the whole-group intro, then Jun and The8 performed their duo song My I. Then they had the whole-group performance of Crazy in Love, which incorporates a lot of footwork. THEN they had Don't Wanna Cry directly afterwards, which they've admitted is one of their toughest songs to perform. And lastly, they had Thanks, which you just saw, is a tough choreo as well. All back to back, in suits, while singing live. Jun and The8 had to technically perform four songs, and then there's The8's flip in DWC.... unreal. Despite that, they did so well and I love re watching those performances because I can see clearly how they're putting their all into it.

Seventeen actually first performed 'THANKS' during their fanmeeting, a few days prior to its scheduled release. And they really made that song for fans. They have incorporated a lot of sign languages to the choreography. Also there is a formation that forms 'THX' which can be visible if taken from an aerial shot. I was one of the lucky fans who have seen this performance first during caratland and I remember having chills and my eyes were all watery because it was that beautiful. This is also their first no. 1 song in melOn (a very competitive korean music site) I was so proud of them.
finally someone who understands how amazing this dance is, literally everyone who did a reaction video to this dance practice was so chill like "yeah, it's just a dance, i've seen it before", and i'm thinking like "no, you haven't, nobody does this, no kpop group dances like this, this complicated and in sync and this well" so don't be so chill when you see a dance like this cause only a handful of dance crews from all over the world could do this one so well

I took my daughter to see Ode to You in LA in January and tried to learn a bit about the group before we went. I really enjoyed their content and music, and the concert was such a blast! After that, I completely became a Kpop fiend and started listening to everything. I truly think that Kpop music, videos, reactions and fan content kept me happy through quarantine. 😊 I love watching other people love it too. Makes me so happy!

they use 2 hand signature in this choreo first represent "thank you" second represent "promise" and in 8:42 in that formation if u look at it from top view it would form word T. H. X (they made it on purpose so that carat who come to the concert who sit on the top venue could see it)

Same here. Seventeen's Fallin' Flower is just the best ever in every aspect. I love so many of their other songs, too, that I can listen to over and over again without being bored. Going Seventeen has helped me get through some rough patches in my life, too. They're such precious, talented individuals and I sincerely wish all the best for their future.

Thanks is the first kpop video/song that caught me. Before this, I was just curious and glancing around to see what was up. This though, I kept coming back. It has never left my playlist for almost 3 years now.

thanks is one of my favourite svt tracks and probably the one i listen to the least because it makes me so emotional i cry every time. i wasn’t even a carat when it was released but after becoming a fan i was able to feel everything they put into that track and it literally breaks me
