I just got a used G2 with all the fixings (isolators, time lords, distributors, generator and other stuff) as an upgrade to my Boss BCB-60. Talk about overwhelming. I didn’t have the foggiest on how to even begin getting my pedals rigged up until I found your video. Thank you so much - you have absolutely no idea how much this gave me a head start!

Interesting run through your G2 system, I'm basing mine of midi with HX stomp and timeline plus drive pedals in FRFR, useful bit of kit the G2 and interesting to see how many different ways you can use it

Hey dude! You'll lose the trails if the volume is positioned after the delay pedal, but as long as your volume is in front of the delay then your trails will continue :)

I watched the video for listen about your sound came from the Victory V30 because I am very interested in that amp.

@@mattmallguitar That's sound great, I have seen you used to play with a Blackstar S1 104 6l6, I have the S1 104 El34 and I am very curious to know what do you like more about the Victory and if you find it less harsh than the S1 ?

Daniel Lombardo yes I used to use Blackstar, but I found the amp gain sounds just weren’t what I was after so I started exploring other options and when I tried the Victory gear I instantly fell in love with it. The gain for me feels way more natural and much less fizzy/harsh sounding, hopefully this comes across in the video where I do a quick crunch sound example. It’s also a great pedal platform!

Matt, nice video. Was there a reason why use used loop 8 for your 4 cable method as opposed to the volume insert?

Hi David this was actually a signal path mapped out for me by the guys at GigRig, I’m not sure why they didn’t suggest using the volume insert on G2, I may well give it a go to test it out and free up a loop!

Hi Matt, nice setup! I'm looking at getting the Gigrig G2 and want to make sure it has all of the features I'm after. I'm looking to run 3 different amplifiers (bass, clean and overdrive channels). Is it possible to have three different presets interchangeable and also be able to play them over the top one another, without their signals impeding? I know it has a stereo output so you can run two amps, but is it possible to put another amplifier into a loop and use it as a stomp box? Thanks

sammyyy_b hey dude! I think you’ll be able to run 3 amps, but I’m not sure if you’ll get phasing issues - best thing to do is message Joe on the gigrig web page, he’ll be able to assist in more detail and also help with your signal path! Hope this helps buddy!

Yes you can, I have it set up that way for a wet/dry/wet rig. You will need the humdinger sold separately on their site and connect it to the volume insert loop for the 3rd amp.
