All companies, sometimes have issues, but I have always been amazed at how few lemons there actually are by most top tier manufacturers. And, we hear about every single one of them about a million times.

Take it apart. The connector is out of tune. It needs to come out at the top. It sounds like it was not bent enough and is to vertical, not allowing proper tension with trigger bar. Clean the factory copper grease out of it. That is packing grease for long term storage and rust preventative.

As far as the grease, it’s always been explained to me that the copper grease is kind of like a break-in grease. I think if it was a long-term storage grease it would be all over the gun rather than just the frame rails. I’ve shot new Glocks with and without it still there without problem.

While I agree it’s probably not a world ending repair something can only be in one of two states. Broken or working, this Glock is currently the first one.

Ruger LCP, very ammo-sensitive. Then later I purchased a Ruger LCP II, even more ammo-sensitive. Sold them both off for cheap, with the issues being known by the buyer. The buyer ended up sending both in for warranty-service and they reportedly work much better now. Yes, I could have gone through the FFL/warranty-return process. But in the end, with two models and the overall cost/availability of .380ACP. I decided ditch the things, 9x19Luger and .38Special already exist. Why spend more $$$ on a lesser round [.380ACP]? I haven't had issues with my 2 Glock 43s, Glock 19g4, or 17g4. I own a S&W 637 that runs fine, but also own a Model 60 that runs good. But that one does have a tight cylinder-lockup, it takes a little more effort to open the cylinder to load/unload. I will say the newest S&W revolver I bought was a Performance Center 686 5" (7shot) and the workmanship on it was very lacking. Metal-shavings, tiny scratches on the cylinder-release, the 'Hillary hole' wasn't very cleanly bored out (which I plugged anyway and it looks better now). Honestly I think it's just a sign of the times. This isn't isolated to gun-builders, it seems pretty wide-spread, manufacturing/quality is degrading across the board. Coupled with inflation, we're spending more, getting less... Best of luck

I had a 43X MOS that did the same thing! I replaced most of the parts with oem Glock parts myself then sold it. I explained the problem first. Funny thing is I’ve had 2 48’s and 2 other 43Xs non MOS and have fired many rounds through them with no problem at all.

Interesting to hear someone else have the exact same problem

Let me tell you something THAT GLOCK WAS MADE IN THE USA, just like my standard Glock 43 that has a problem . There's too much politics in hiring here like DEI and affirmative action . The best Qualified don't get the job and QC sufferers . I wont buy Cars and Guns made in the U.S. and I could tell you plenty of horror stories. I have a Glock 17 I bought in 1987 and never had problem made in Austria.
