Very good machine. I really recommend it. The suction power is more and it can mop very well. I got it in good value from Courts compared to Xiaomi store.
I have exactly the same floor as yours, white tiles with few carpets here and there, so every speck and hair is visible just 1 hour after cleaning and the dirt is always sticking to my feet. My idea was to get this robot as a solution solution to this problem, I can let it work once a day or in two days. Do you think it will do the job? Also, do you think the dock is useful?
It’s worth buying. It sucks all the hair and fine dust. You can use it at every alternate day or so. It will do the job to satisfaction for sure. The simple dock as I have shown in the video is useful and is required too as it’s a part of the robotic cleaner. However if you are asking me a bigger docking station which do a self refilling of water and collecting the dust once the robot returns to the dock…… for that I am not convinced enough with the benefits of it as we can clean the dust collected and refill the water once a cleaning operation is over.
Believe me it’s not required as long as you can just refill the water and clear the small dust collector box after your operation completed for the day. My house is not so big, it’s just 110Sqm. I don’t need to refill in between whole house cleaning/mopping neither I have to empty dust basket. So you can relate with it. But for me big Dock is not required.

Good question. I am not sure about two floors. This you may have to query Xiaomi guys or the store from you are buying it. But with my little knowledge and experience with this machine, you can scan as many as rooms irrespective of floors. You can name them floor wise or as you want them to be and can give command to clean as per your choice/ schedule. The only thing is if you want to clean a particular floor, you have to carry it to that floor and then I am sure it will orient it itself and get the task done. I believe it can sure capture two floor maps but it won’t differentiate them as a individual floor as I didn’t find any reference of levels or floor in the app while using it or getting my one level home scan. I hope I would able to clarify your doubt a bit. Thanks for query.
I didn’t try it with detergent. Though I feel there won’t be any issue since the water with or without detergent will just seep down and dampen the mop pads. I don’t see any problem using detergent. Though, if detergent will be added more, it may make floor soapy and won’t wiped totally by the robotic vaccum cleaner. So better to add little quantity. You can just wash the mop pads, and then reuse it. Simple.
Oh it’s an easy system. There is a water tank, we need to fill water in it. It’s having an internal piping which just do a control rate of dosing into the mop pads attached at bottom….. they keep rubbing the floor and get dry. There is a sensor which control the water dispensing to the mops. I am in the middle of loading my part 2 video right now…… You can watch that too in just 10 mints.
@@heyzosim7771 No, it keep the floor moist and not wet. There is no water in the floor but you can find moistness. It’s neither dry nor as wet as risking slipping. Believe me, I too have many apprehensions but when I used it, I am fully satisfied. It’s a very good machine….. if it last longer. I am using it since last three months….end May this year. So far so good.
@@engineerbychance2good i only used it once today for the first time. No moistness at all after it cleaned 50%. Hope it gets better. Might need increase humidity on mops
Not sure, you can google it. But I checked, it’s available in Amazon. But my advise is to check with Mi store as you must have service centre for it else for any issue you will get stuck. Don’t buy if there is no service centre. I also heard Xiaomi is not very compatible in India ….. so pls do some more research as I am not sure.
Yes its working quite well. Recently I had a problem with its water dispensing to the mop pads perhaps due to non functioning of the pumps. I took it to Xiaomi store here in Singapore and they changed the pump. I brought the machine back yesterday only. Though I have yet to restart the machine today and do rescan/reset it in the app. I am going to make another video on it today or tomorrow. I am quite happy with Xiaomi service centres prompt and smooth service. One thing regarding water dispensing system. PLS NEVER USE OR MIX ANY DETERGENT OR CHEMICAL IN THE WATER AS IT EFFECTS THE PUMP AND PUMP CAN SPOIL.
