I just found you. Your tiny home will be fabulous! Im very happy that you were able to get away from your abuser. I know from experience that its is a long healing process. You got this! Stay strong!
That's going to be very cute when you get it all set up. Congratulations again. Glad I found you. Will include you in my prayers if that's OK. Women collectively need to get better at lifting other women up. Please be careful when you tell him you're leaving. Leaving can be very dangerous.
Me and Nina are so happy for you! Love how job, car and home came together for you. For the fridge you might want check apartment size fridge, and a suggestion for the closet is to keep the bathroom door open as much as possible, moisture. Another suggestion, if there's room in the bedroom a small free standing wardrobe Amazon has some for around $50. Don't know if any of these ideas are helpful. Please keep us updated as you fix up your cute cozy home
@@BlessedWithNina yes ma'am that's a good idea but the bathroom door will stay open and the bedroom door open as well since the ac/heat unit is in the bedroom. I may get a small plugin wall heater for the bathroom for cold weather to shower. I'll have to figure out the closet situation soon. Tell Nina hello for me. 🫶❤️
You can do a lot with the space you have there’s nothing like being able to come in your own house and lock the door behind you! It will be a sweet little cottage 🏡
How exciting! 😊 A nice cozy cottage, just in time for winter! And you look fantastic! The porch area is spacious and will be fun to decorate, also! Yes! You did it! 🤜🤛
Please do not let him know where you live, as former law enforcement you don’t know what might make a person that’s desperate turn violence. Now I’m not saying physically but I have seen where they purposefully destroy rental property’s so you will be evicted or charged for the damages. Trying to force you back. So please head my advice do not let him find out your physical address. Meet at a neutral place and then make sure he doesn’t follow you after.
@@livinglife8333 Thank you and he doesn't know my address but he is an EMT and firefighter and has connections to find out, but I'm not too worried right now. I still have bruises from him. I put out a short video this morning showing a little of what he did a while back.
Your video just popped up on my feed, so I’ve only watched this one. From your narration it sounds like you have made a brave move and that you are taking care of yourself. When I was young I used to think that besides having my children that the best day of a woman’s life always involved some new start with a man…marriage…living together, etc. BUT…I’ve since learned that buying your own house is THE BEST thing ever. Congratulations to you!!!
I don't know how big T-Bone is cuz this is the first video of yours that I've seen but when you put up the gate make sure they can't get under the house... I don't even want to think about that lol. You did good! ❤
Congratulations 🎉 onward & upward! There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of accomplishing things on your own, & you're batting 1,000 right now ~ you GO, girl 😊 !
I agree 💯💯 percent, do NOT tell him where you live!!! I worked at women resource center, and some women coming in hadstayed thete far from where they lived. So for your well being, please take care of YORRSELF. God Bless, I've seen abused people. 👌👍🤗🤓
You can probably get a 10 cubic refrigerator/ freezer for about 200.00 maybe less. Or go to a gently used appliance store. You would pay for 3 refrigerators by the time you rent one. God bless you, I pray that you receive many more blessings.🥰
Congratulations on pulling your life back together.. I have been where you are.. so I know the struggle all too well. Please be careful when you tell him you are leaving. I don't know the history of your relationship. Keep going forward it will get better, and you will be a stronger person for it. Smiles
I'm new here you will make it your home once you get everything you need I don't know about your situation but you are moving forward and life is for living and making happy memories looking forward to seeing you move in take care 🤗🫶🏴
Im a new subscriber. I'm so excited for you and am looking forward to see what you do. I'm redoing my space now so I hope to get new ideas from you😊 stay healthy, happy and safe always.
Congratulations on your new place.I just came across your RU-vid channel.I'm proud of you.I've been through similar things like you. No one's business but you're own, do your thing girlfriend. I like your little house.I live in an efficiency apartment myself so yeah, but we make it our own. Good luck with all you do. I'm enjoying your videos.
I'm new to your channel. I hope you don't mind all the suggestions I'm making. I'm thrilled for you. The mini split means that you don't need those vents in the floor (at this point, they're just holes in the floor) you can place your dog's bed & kennel over those if you want to. I was looking for "with love Kristina" yt channel, she does cottagecore, when your channel came up. Cuz your name is Christina. I've thumbs upped and subbed.
You don't want to have the foot of your bed pointing towards the door. It means you'll be leaving that house soon. I did that once when I wanted to move, it worked. But in hindsight that didn't work out well for me.
Congrats on your own home! It feels good doesn't it? I guess that closet in the bedroom is the water heater? I like that the top can hold decorative storage, like one of those spinning bookcases that can hold tee-shirts, leggings, jewelry and stuff in fabric cubes. Artifical wisteria vines and fairy lights could hide the waterheater. I love the cottagecore look that those curtains on the cabinet and bathroom vanity. A Galanz fridge is smaller and has the vintage look of cottagecore. A fabric curtain for the closet would help complete that cottagecore look. Enjoy your new home!
Is that two bedrooms or one?? Congratulations. It is small but it could be fixed up really cute…… I love decorating!!! I would clean it before you move in. While it is empty it will be much quicker!!!
This is a lovely little place. The neighborhood seems very peaceful and all the places look well kept. The trees are so pretty. Check around the thrift stores in your area for a small drop leaf table and chairs for your kitchen, a vintage chest that can double as coffee table or tv stand and shelving units/rolling carts for storage. I would get a clothes rack or wardrobe for the bedroom to put your hanging clothes in. Put shelves in that spot in the bathroom to store cleaning supplies, tp and towels.
You did it. Good job. Cute place. Some small shelves and a cart for under the sink. You are good to go. Get some things moved first and then let him know.
Stay by yourself awhile and live your life. My husband passed two years ago. I'm starting all over again too. This time on my own. Just bought a new mobile home. My name is the only one on it. I'm doing everything on my own and for myself. Congratulations on doing it on your own.
Wow you are truly awesome Cristina ❤❤❤I really love your new home and this the home.I.lije the balcony you can have coffee ☕ with your love❤❤❤I love it much
Hi new to your channel, and Congrats on your new home it is amazing what can be done in a small space, but I was thinking would you not get one of those small Tables you can screw to the wall and it folds down when not used, this could be where you eat and in the kitchen area under the window ?? I am sure you will get it all sorted so look forward to seeing your next video, xxx Hugs from Ireland xxxxx Dede
Now you need to trim those bushes, and trees, plant grass seed and fertilizer . Start getting your front looking good. I used to live in casellberry, fl in a trailer for a bit. Even though I rented it, I treated it like my own, planting flowers, mowing, mulch, weeds
@@DragonflyzPrepsteadNDesigns I wouldn't put money into the leased land. Just keep it tidy and use the money for your inside comfort. If you do want plants and flowers just do potted plants so you can take them with you. sounds like dumb advice to tell you to spend money you don't have to improve the landlords land. Plus, I like your new place, congratulations, you are an inspiration.
IKEA has a fold up table that rolls around and has some drawers. It would allow you to eat at a small table but be able to entertain and can on a bigger table too
Hello, I just came across your channel and congratulations by the way. A heads up girlfriend when you’re pointing towards the kitchen sink where your lease you can make out your address I don’t know if anybody’s pointed that out. It’s a little blurry, but some of it is visible. There’s some crazies out there. God bless you and much happiness.
You can hang herbs and medicinal tea type herbs too. Be sure you plant mint where your outdoor faucet is. I learned that trick while living in Alabama and have done it ever since. Never lost a mint plant since then.
New here! You just popped up in my feed. Congratulations! Bamboo can be useful in terms of prepping. I'd recommend researching before you decide how much to cut.
First time to your channel. I know I'm late, but I just wanted to say, never use rent to own, a friend of mine once paid $10,000 for a living room suit that cost 1,800. Try Habit For Humanity or a thrift place or second hand store for your fridge. Actually, for most of your other stuff, too. Places like women's shelters and pet rescue's thrift shops could sure use the money and sometimes the stuff is like new, or really IS new. Good luck on your new adventure.
Hello Cristina I’m new to your Channel my name is Alisha watching from Lake Los Angeles California congratulations on your new home. I enjoyed your video
