Nice car man. On a side note though you really need to practice driving a manual car or youre gonna wear out clutches like brake pads. Again congrats on the car
@@Cmobley_ she's alright with my passion for cars/rigs in general. Issue is with her motion sickness so probably concerned that I might floor it. I (try to) promised I'd be careful if she's a passenger 😆
Its brand new so the engine has a break in period, please stop trying downshift like that 😫 take her easy for like first 500 miles an keep them RPM's low bud 👌 congrats on scoring one of these beauties.
All companies break in their motors on the dyno before sale especially a performance car like this you can take the extra precaution for about 1500 miles but it is no longer a necessity like the early 90s
Congrats! I’ve been asking around to trade my 22 Si for one. Dealerships are just asking too much markup on the type R. I also don’t want to travel out of state to get one
Arigato! Others have made similar comments, but the problem of markup seems to be serious in the United States. It's a shame that people who really want the Type R can't buy it.
Very nice, congratulations. I've signed up to get notified once they're available here in the US. Also read it set a new FW Suzuka track record. This is a legit performance machine.
For stock mass production car. Plenty off cars can beat this for way cheaper too. But it is an awesome driving machine no doubt. But 65 k in the states is not worth you can get a whole done up track car way better for that price.
@@R3KONT3K yup. These dealer markups needs to go kill themselves. But msrp price, this car is the best bang for the buck. But yea save your 65k and get something better.
As an FK8 owner, I think this car is awesome looking. I am keeping my car because I love it, but I could see replacing with an FL5 if (god forbid) anything happened to it. I wish people could just enjoy every generation without drama.
Enjoy your new car! I was in a waiting list to order but I was told by the dealer that it will be around 55.000€ in Spain, that's more than I'm willing to pay for a civic. Thanks for sharing!
That's right! Unfortunately this model is probably the last. The person in charge of development also said that it was the culmination of a pure internal combustion engine.
This is a Japanese model and costs 5 million yen in Japanese yen. I ordered a lot of options, so I paid about 6 million yen. There is no markup for Japanese dealers. Yes, I think the mirror color should be the championship color.
Unfortunately I don't think ASC can be unlocked. I looked it up in the owner's guide, but it's not there. Although there is a possibility that a kit that disarms ASC will be released.
@@FL5ch.Type.R thanks for the info. Yeah I did see a vid on how to remove a module from behind the glovebox on the 10th gen type R's that have interior exhaust sounds. Congrats on the new one !
This video is all driving with +R, so the suspension is hard. However, the camera settings and road conditions were not very good. In comfort mode, the passengers are sleeping soundly.

Looks good but seems very stiff from this footage and the artificial engine noise inside sounds like an old Gran Truismo game.. I bet it will be fast though!
