Beth Charlotteee . Hi Beth, I know this is probably weird, but I would love if you could send me one or two. It doesn’t have to be nymphs if you don’t have any. But I would love to have one. I understand if you don’t feel comfortable sending precious insects to someone you don’t know, but I would truly love to have one. I have the proper supplies to suit it (I as well am a fan of this channel), and if you would like to even receive a video of me receiving them and placing it into proper care. Or even monthly checkups, I wouldn’t mind. But as I said I would fully understand if you don’t feel comfortable sending me some. But my email is omarihansford01@gmail.com . Thanks in advance!!
@@kasheek2202 I'm really sorry I didn't even realised you had replied to my comment all those months ago! I would have happily sent you some leafies but unfortunately I no longer have any!:( I hope you got some and again I'm sorry about not replying! x
ok this is ADORABLE I love them so much! they are the cutest lil things! Also I've been considering getting rats, I just found your channel today and its been so so helpful! you seem so nice🌸💞
Hi!! I love your videos! You are one of the many amazing youtubers that helped me with information for animals! 😊😊 because of you i am considering getting mice 😊 i just wanted to say thank you!
Hi! I've just hatched my first P.tobeloense galela nymph. It's from a parthonegenic culture that took just 5 months to hatch with temp between 19-23C and humidity above 55Rh. Interestingly, they hatched just two days after I'd rearranged my room and so they were now under a light source from one of my other tanks. Maybe the increased light intensity encouraged them to suddenly hatch? I'm not sure, but I'll keep you updated 😊
😄 I think those leaf insects are so cute I was going to get them but u soon fell in love with rats but I think I might get leaf insects!🍃 I haven’t really seen them before son I hope I can in real life! Hi emoligy! :D I have got 3 rats they are doing so great one of them has slept on me! I’m super happy!
Great video, I really want leaf insects but a bit nervous about buying any. Their usually quite expensive where I've seen them. I think stick and leaf insects are brilliant.
this comment is old, but if your still looking for some leaf or stick insects then i reccomend ebay or professional breeders, i bought some of ebay and you can buy indian sick insects for £3, if you did manage to get any previoulsy then how are they? :)
Here in the states I’ve never heard of bramble also never heard of privet which is another food source for a type of stick bug I want badly. Fortunately there is a ton of eucalyptus growing around here so I’ll have to settle on stick bugs from Australia.
Is it normal for them to just sit in the same place for long periods of time? Mine are just sitting in the same spots. They eat, but just worried that they’re not thriving!
I have been wanting to get these for a while and now after watching this video, I am unsure. The only ones I have ever seen are eggs for sale on ebay, they are not cheap, I am in Canada, and now that I heard you say yours didn't hatch makes me not want to get them. I would have loved to have them once in my life. Thank you for the video.
The autumn leave eggs would have needed more time to hatch. Parthenogenetic breeded insects need double the time as other leaf insects (like phyllium philippinicum need. I ´m so sorry to tell this to late to you.
We have a bunch of black currant and raspberry bushes in our backyard, but since I live in Finland they only have leaves for a few months out of the year :(
@@Emiology Alright, thank you :) So thats true how bramble leafs not falling down at winter :D I can feed my babies all winter then :3 Got them few days ago :)
i know your comment is old, but i would say that you always need an enclosure as they would just get off and start venturing for another food source. they would also die as of lack of food and wouldnt be kept at the right heat! if you have already kept them without an enclosure then how did it go? :)
Emiology Are there other food options for cold weather environments? Non of those are available for me to harvest this time of year. Someone mentioned salad mix and romain lettuce but, I am skeptical. Thanks for the info. Your videos are informative and helpful.
this commt is a year old but in the US you can still have access to ebay, which sells plenty of stick insect eggs and nyphs. totally reccomend as about 2 years ago i bought some indian sick insects and still have some from that same family! :)
i reccomend ebay as you they have a variety of breeds and you can either buy the nymphs or eggs, deffientley reccomend buying nyphs as i have no patience lol :)
haha that's why they do it! They'll curl up or start shaking like a leaf would in the breeze to make them look even more like leaves to potential predators!
U wanna donate som bramble to my new guniea stick insects? Live in Norway and can’t find any😂 Don’t worry, i feed them ivy and lemon balm but it costs money:/
