You're amazing. I would be honored to be your friend. I think your friends from before weren't good friends because they would've stood by your side.

George, your video caught my attention as your brain injury and subsequent neurological "deficits" sound much like mine. I can't see much since my accidents and 6 brain surgeries for the treatment of two brain tumors and a brainstem cyst. "Friends" can depart quickly after brain injury, especially when you are stuck with an "invisible disability" they can't comprehend! Keep your chin up, things do get better! Alex

It's crazy how all his "friends" that he used to drink with and probably caused the crash just don't bother with him anymore It Puts a lot into perspective, I really hate alcohol I'm glad he's the support he does have now x

All his friends did visit at the start but as time went on, they all withered away. The people he drank with that night were just casual friends. (I went to school with him)

Just shows you who your real friends are. Even if they felt bad you should still try and be his friend. It’s just ridiculous.

An old man held up his hand and showed me five fingers, and said If you have this many good friends in a lifetime, you'll be doin' real good. That was a lotta years ago, and I now know what he meant. Some folks call it "Ghosting"; you turn around ,and they've juss disappeared.
