I think many people think they have flu when they in fact don’t. I had influenza when I was 15, I remember that year it was dubbed ‘Killer Flu’ as it took so many people out. It took 6 weeks to recover, 3 of those in bed. Glad you are feeling better. I just had what I think was Covid and am only just feeling back to normal after 13 days which is good as I’m off to Paris in a few days and don’t want to be sick. Beautiful place.
Obviously, you're an aesthete, as am I. And it's not too expensive, but developers are too greedy. Everything now can be replicated with lasers or molds. Nothing has to be carved by hand anymore, unless someone wants to take a purist approach to restoration.

It will get better but you must pace yourself. Having Covid is not like having the flu or a cold, it's as if someone pulled the plug out on your energy source. I had COVID this summer, at the beginning of July. During my vacation to Florida, I ended up spending half of it sick with COVID. Imagine freezing to the bone in Florida-sleeping in a turtleneck, sweatpants, socks, and with a heating pad. That’s what my COVID experience was like. And to be honest, it's been over a month now, and I'm still not feeling 100%. So I agree with you-COVID is more than just a cold or flu.

I never had covid but this may I got ill after 15 years, fever and pain all over, and I almost forgot how it felt!!! I was miserable. At some point I was looking on line all the worst possible things you could have, just because I didn't know what to do, and I was too tired to do anything but not enough to keep sleeping. I watched the Tv show with Lisa Van der Pump with the new Chateau Rosabelle and loved it. What do you think? Did anyone watch it?

The “real flu” is a lot rougher than what people think is the flu and it depends on the strain. I had the Victorian A strain and it took 5 months to finally feel like I was better and a full year before I could breathe normally, also lost my sense of taste and smell. That was in the 70s.
I had the flu when I was 21 and I couldn’t get out of bed for three weeks, my mother had to help me to go to the bathroom and every time I did try to get out of bed I threw up, the doctor visited twice (that tells you how long ago this episode was!) I lost over a stone in weight and had to convalesce for weeks after. I have also had a bad case of Covid, I also have a weakened immune system, it was bad but nothing compared to that awful time, I got very depressed and like you literally thought I was going to die, it’s so, so nice to feel better ❤️

He pans too fast and from left to right to left to right to left to right.... that makes you dizzy and there is also something wrong with his camera. There are really annoying "waves" in the footage, the things he films seem to move in waves. Adds to the feeling of vertigo

Oh no, I’m glad you’re feeling better. I had the same symptoms back when I had Covid. Although I lost my sense of smell also, it’s back but it seems to come and go occasionally and I too love parfums and that really bothered me. Good to see you back!!!

I had Covid recently and I was feeling depressed also. I had no energy and my upper body ached, trouble catching my breath at times. I am up to date with my boosters and I feel that I would have been much worse off without them. I’m still not feeling 100% but I’m resting when I need to. Glad to see you again.

What an amazing job the decorators have done. I have decorated some historic homes particularly for the holidays and I can only imagine how splendid the chateau will be at Christmas. Thank you for sharing.Take good care. Try drinking lemon water daily first thing in the morning before having tea or breakfast. Perhaps you could find some local honey ( within 25 miles of where you are) and take a tablespoon each day. Fresh air and sun as well to help you build up your immune system.

Such a brilliant idea to showcase Chateau de Curzay through the perspecive lenses of Nathan and Nicolas by highlighting the uniqueness of the Chateau with the upcoming changing seasons. The opening video sequence by Antoine Paillard as part of the Chateau's public promotion is magnificent. The owner Kevin and team have really put a lot of effort to offer an experience of being at home while being away from home. Nicolas - your channel is one of my main channels that I like to watch. I just like the way you perceive the beauty in the world and I am glad that you pulled through the covid victoriously with the relaunch of your next chapter on UT. You have a close family and I am sure they wrapped around their support to both you and Sophie during your absence; you were very much missed. Stay Well, Healthy and Strong.

I’m glad to hear you’re doing better, Nicholas. Never had Covid to the best of my knowledge, but I’ve been horribly sick with the real flu. I was strong, healthy, in my 30’s, yet I was so ill..104 fever, couldn’t get out of bed without help to even use the bathroom, developed wheezing, difficult to breathe, had to have someone get my meds, water, etc. I had never felt so sick in my life. The chateau is beautiful! Enjoy your time there and be well. ❤

Both his and Nathans dogs are at his home with a sitter for the weeks he is away which will only be five at most. This vlog gave the impression that he was living at the chateau for five months which is misleading at best😊

It's thrilling that you and Nate are going to be staying at the chateau through the end of the year. I had the original CoVid strain, after I was vaccinated. You are right it is no picnic, but I got through it, just taking Ibuprofen. First week: flu-like symptoms, runny nose, headaches. Second week: extremely sore throat and difficulty swallowing. Third week: chest congestion and deep cough. Lethargic and tired throughout and a few weeks following! Will NEVER get another CoVid vaccination, including boosters - euphemism for another vaccine shot - against CoVid.

It is so nice to see you again. I am glad that you overcomed illness. Not to offend anyones view on covid vaccine ( my husband took the vaccine, and i didn't ) but we both have seen that our vaccinated friends got more then two or three times covid while I and our friends that are unvaccinated were sick ones or not at all. Please take care with lotsof natural vitamin C and D andthings will work better for you in the future. Love
