Swede here. I actually don't think swedes in general are shy. But we don't do much small talk about nothing. We don't think that it's wrong or rude to be quiet. I think most swedes like peace and quiet and no drama. But- I think swedes are good when you need help and I think people are usually loyal. What you need to do to make friends is to take initiative yourself. Swedes usually make friends through hobbies, clubs, gyms, taking courses, charities etc. Or sometimes Facebookgroups and apps. So you need to go out there and meet people. I hope you will like it here in sweden. Welcome!

Hey thanks so much for taking time to clarify! So I have to admit I did this video not so long ago but already in this short time I managed to meet and befriend some locals and actually it was not that hard, because everyone was really nice and open. I have been meaning to share this news in a next video and I thank you for this comment because it offers a swede point of view on the story!

I love Sweden and living there is my dream (probably not gonna happen cause I'm a single 40 y.o. man so moving to another country might be too much of a problem, unfortunately...) so I'm happy to discover your channel, Giulio! Keep posting swedish content, I'm all for that and more. Best of luck!
