*YESSSSSSSSSSSS* soooo happy for you.. this is going to make light of your heavy jobs.. no more DRAGGING those long logs by hand either.. you must be beside yourself.. oh oh imagine the video content on working on that beautiful tractor..lil tips n trips of care. has your family all taken turns driving down the road?..id be GONE lol lol
I bought a massey 135 in 2016 it's a 1972 $3500 no implements but I had dated receipts and the hours stated before the engine rehaul and new clutch installed. Mine has the 3cylinder perkins from what I was told its better than the continental 4 cylinder engine. It worked great until I decided to fill it up all the way with gas was having sediment issues got thst taken care of super easy to fix. Also dont tighten the glass bowl to tight at least if you do that to mine it wont run even though the bowls full of gas. But I own a lawn mowing business and my 135 is just as important as my zero turns I use it to brush hog finish mow fall clean ups snow removal tree work you name it. I'd sell my ford 3550 backhoe before my 135 as soon as you get the gas issue fixed you'll be happy from what I read the 135 is hands down for the time and in its class the best 30 hp to 45 hp tractor not only massey Ferguson made but out off all the others made for the time back then. Maybe the tractor sat with the tank half full of gas and the top rusted inside the tank. But good luck and you'll absolutely love the tractor when you fix the minor issue.
You're right. I love it. I took the gas tank off and cleaned it out as best I could. Getting it back on was fun. I didn't want to take the radiator off, so I did a little sheet metal forming with a ball peen hammer where it ran into the the wster neck. I've had to take the bowl assembly off a couple more times, but I think anything big enough to clog it has come out. I also stuck a short piece of tubing into the fitting of the tank so it sticks up into the tank about 1/2". This has the 3-cylinder gas engine. Others have told me what you said. It's the best tractor of it's size ever made.
@@ArkansasPilgrim I've ran my tractor for 8 hours straight pulling out autumolive bushes and hauling 10ft logs about 16 to 22 in diameter that was the hardest I ever worked it and the front wheels half the time 1ft off the ground it never skipped a beat it definitely out works me or itll brush hog 5ft grass 3 to 5 acres just stopping to blow off the radiator I absolutely am convinced it's in the top 3 of all tractors ever built. Glad you got it going I knew ya would.
Eng. Osman abdillahi ali I want to get this information. 1.0 the cost of a new massey fegusson, 135 with all the ploughing equipments and a suitable trailer. You'll have to check in your area. Go to Craigslist and look under Farm & Garden, or Facebook Marketplace and search "tractors". I bought this off of a friend, so I kind of got a deal.

Good job. My husband has a Ford new Holland compact tractor it has a loader on the front and a removable backhoe it is a great little work horse. The only thing wrong with it is no canopy really need one.
I would like to have a loader, but this was the right price, and I trust the previous owner. Just between you and me, "died" was a little strong of a word. The problem was actually simple to fix, in theory. Actually taking things off and putting them back on was a hassle, though.
I'm jealous!! I really need one of those tractors. Its a beautiful thing! I'm sorry it died. It is fixable, right? The hat is good. Nice brim for sun shade! Thanks for sharing.
"Died" was too strong a word, but hey, this RU-vid! It would die, I would mess around a bit, and restart it, then it would run, and die again. Fuel problem. Stay tuned!
