I turned my Vauxhall Combo 2019 into a new Micro Home and I cannot be happier, this van build was very tricky as I knew nothing about van conversions but I am more than happy with how it's turned out,
I am even more excited to turn it into an even better build long term !

Vans looking good Jack! I made use of the panelled walls for storage, cheap to pick up mesh pockets online. It took a few trips out to figure it all out, but I'm getting there. I also have a sofa bed in my van, so much more space than a fixed bed.

Yep that's a great idea, i definitely notice i have all this empty space on my walls which can be used to my advantage!

Where's the loo ? I have the same van and my bed is gonna be a fixed box with storage under - hinged lids, with the w.c. and another storage box on other side. A narrow gap lengthwise running front to back. I presently have a thin plastic table-cloth on a tension rod which separates the cab, just like yours, but once that starts to get scrappy and splits or tears I have a more durable shower curtain in the colours of my van carpet which is light blue and light grey. Your wheat colour is nice and light, I particularly like the row of lights on the sides, how are these powered?? And where did you get them?? I have a single push on/off spotlight which gives plenty of illumination should I need it, but I also have windows (back doors and one side) so I get light from the street. Enjoyed the video, have a great time camping - perhaps once weather is warmer 👍👍😀😀

Haha loo will come in the 2.0 build , for now it will be service stops or if push comes to shove a more err wild bathroom 😂 Lights are powered by AA Batteries, all accessories will be updated and added to bottom of my videos end of day today , im making a new video talking in detail about costs of stuff etc so stay tuned!

What about the doors mate are u planning on insulating and carpeting them? I’m looking at the same van… also the passenger seat falling back is that the same with all of these vans when the bulkhead gets removed? I would recommend a folding camping/fishing bed… they dip up nice and u could just have them strapped to the wall when not in use so you have plenty of room for other things day to day

Hey bro, the back doors of the van do you mean ? If so then yes I was but ran out of carpet and because i will be changing this potentially in 3 months i'm holding off for now, there is insulation behind the ply panels, i'm making another video soon talking about costs so will cover it more in that, Also regarding bulkhead , no I don't think they are all like that, the one with triple cabin seats I think are not but do your research (i clearly never) Bed wise, I like the futon as I wanted a seat and this kills two birds 1 stone etc , long term i am planning to make a slide out bed that is like a bench to sit on and slides out to a small double :) Good luck with whatever you do, lemme know if you need any advice

What's the plan for ventilation when your are asleep and the huge amount of condensation that will build up during the night?

Hey Gavin , There is a vent on the roof so besides the front windows getting condensation I use my Window Vac for that, it’s genuinely all good overall 🙌
