#yawtyawt #hogtrapping #recordcatch Channel donations and merch: www.yawtyawt.com/ Catching wild hogs is what I do. Today I caught my largest group of pigs in one catch.
Did y'all catch the news they said that the Pharaoh and domesticated pig population is now coming down from Canada they had populated Canada with a bunch to use as meat and then when the sails drop-down they just let the pigs go so anyways they said to expect an invasion of pigs coming down from Canada
im sure its an extra expense to have a cameraman with you but im telling you Yawt Yawt these last couple videos you had him with you the content has taken a step. This video in my opinion was the best hog video i have watched on any hog channel. i was writing this comment when you said you hope we appreciate this effort and im here to tell you best video i seen on your channel yet. great job.
It’s crazy how intelligent they are. As soon as those things fall, they automatically know that they’re trapped and screwed which is why they’re scrambling.
I have yet to come across an animal that doesn't become hysterical as soon as the trap snaps shut. which is somehow logical... You don't need any special intelligence to do this.
David I do realize how much work goes into this. Always moving and setting up cameras to get so many different angles. Plus all the editing all while doing the actual hog work itself. Thanks David from those of us who can’t get out there. It’s like taking us for a ride in the woods with ya. It’s very much appreciated. I watch these videos over and over. Good wholesome outdoor fun. Thanks for taking us along. I appreciate you.
It is a pest that is spreading throughout the world, here in Brazil it has become a threat to crops and plantations, and to make matters worse, the government does not allow us hunters to put an end to this pest. Nice catching 👏👏👏👏👏
Shame on you, sir. Please research about these animals which are not native to many countries. God has chosen David and many others across the world to help get this source of protein to people who appreciate having it.
Sir, you do not know my background in life, just as I do not know your background in life. It is easy sometimes to make comments about a piece of a story that is shared. As you brought God Into this conversation, let me assure you that not only do I have conversations with Him, He laughs at me. God does a sense of humor. God Bless You, sir.
It's amazing how smart they are. They knew they were taking a risk to eat in that cage. Because, they all headed straight for the gates the second they started to close.
As an English conservationists and ornithologist I wholeheartedly support the work you are all doing on this overwhelming pest problem. But my question is this: is the trapping you are carrying out making any difference to the out of control problem? John 🇬🇧
Show the action please if you are trapping them, not showing us yourself talking all the time. Some of us are not interested in you talking, rather the hugs being trapped, despatched for meat. Maybe prepare them for distribution. Watch how others do it that makes such videos interesting
I remember an episode of him giving them to some folks to eat, I too like that aspect of things. I'm actually on the hunt for that video to with a friend regarding invasive species mitigations.
I knew rstyles they where a huge problem down in the southern states but this video showed me just how aggressive they really are when David came up to the cage. I am from Ohio and visited a friend a few years ago down in AL and I actually saw a hog from a distance when we went fishing one day. Thank God it was at a distance lol!
Lots to like about this video. David is very brave, very skillful, very knowledgeable, and has the sense of humor of a highly skilled comedian. He made this video lots of fun to see. I laughed throughout the time I watched it.
As I am from England we could occasionally do with SUBTITLES but your enthusiasm and joy at catching all those hogs transcends all languages. It is also gratifying to know that all that meat doesn't go to waste !!!! Keep up the good work.
I can imagine it's like he's speaking another language...like that guy on YT in Cork who reportedly has the thickest accent in Ireland (also that bloke was drunk).
Holy moly David that one boar was a stubborn psycho but y'all are awesome I love how y'all feed families with all that pork keep up the outstanding work
Ah yes, the boar fighting for survival is the psycho, not the guy with the gun laughing while there's blood all over the fence from the pigs desperately trying to escape 🤡
@@ramdas363 Next time it'll be a giant breakdancing competition, man vs. hog, where both man and beast alike will dance for turf. But to your point, I represented two of the 4 aggressive hogs' families in a lawsuit seeking damages for the dispatch of the alpha hogs & expert veterinarian psychiatrists (one a sow herself) concluded that both aggressive hogs did in fact suffer from mental illness brought on by Trichinosis & were subject to bouts of rage. The second hog deleted in that cage actually had 4 warrants & wasn't allowed near piglets unsupervised. There's a trust set up by the feed company who provide the bait, which offers grief counselling to those who need it. We have a similar non-profit in Italy, located in Tuskany. We tried opening one near Hogwarts in London, but can't find it. Like the dearly departed hogs, we kept bouncing off of the wall every time we rushed into it.
So good to see the 2 young men together again. Danial, you and Dusty are like to boys with matches, just got to have a fire. Your teasing and bantering are great, it is a sign of a real friendship that has lasted.
Man, I told you...by April you'll have 60 under your belt...I love the drone footage, it adds a new dimension to the overall video. I appreciate all your doing, as a trapper myself, I know the efforts you are putting forward, not only to catch them but to put together these videos. Keep em coming David, I look forward to them...well done
Congratulations! When you think about a hog's breeding cycle, a gilt can start breeding at five months and a sow can produce two and a half litters per year, or five litters over two years, at an average of twelve pigs per litter, you guys just did quite a service to your community! Way to go! 🐷🐖🐷
I want to see em drop when U shoot them.!! It's not inhumane to want to see that since I know they have wiped out an entire Vineyard over night. Wild hogs R CRAZY.!!
@@user-qj8wd1de3d If you decide to insult strangers on RU-vid, while you smugly fancy yourself to be intellectually superior as far as linguistics, at least double-check the proper meaning of the words that you wish to teach said strangers you intend to insult; otherwise, you appear quite the fool. ' "INHUMANE: without compassion for misery or suffering; cruel. "confining wild horses is inhumane" ' (Oxford Dictionary)
You doing a great service Dave trapping those wild hogs. We had the same problem here in Australia with our wild pigs everywhere, but there’s no way in the world I eat any of them have seen what the pigs eat

@@tony98discovery Yep. Downright scarey! I have a rural house in a county that is still mostly farmland. Fortunately the locals are able to keep most of this type stuff cleaned up. I still see an occasional predator (some coyotes, foxes and a pig now and again), but I stay on the alert when I am out in the more wooded areas of my property in particular.
@@tony98discovery I live at surf beach in Sydney, Australia. Couple hours out of Sydney, sure, feral pigs are a problem. Also feral goats, feral sheep, feral donkeys, feral camels, introduced deer. Everything is fair game with no season. The wild rabbits are all infected with 3 different viruses that have been released to try control wild rabbit populations.
I am a Great Grandma and I sure enjoy your show 👍. I used to have cattle and I know what a Problem the Wild Hogs can cause!!! They will ruin pasture land!!! Keep up the good work 🙏
Now thats a load of hogs brother. Congrats on the 30 can't wait to see ya get the other. Thanks for sharing enjoyed it and God bless ya brother Yawt Yawt 🙏
Beautiful hunting gentlemen, here in Brazil we are controlling wild pigs too, they are destroying corn, soybean plantations and other plantations. Good hunt my congratulations, Dave is a great camera men! 😂😂😂😂
Davy, I’m watching this episode for second time…. The first time this was all new….I find your profession very interesting….and in further episodes you share small moments of your family…. Your a everyday family man just like me…. More please 😀😁👍
It's great to see more and more people like you kids out there doing the right thing simply because that's what needs to be done. God Bless and Keep you ALL !
Mornin Mr. David thank you for uploadin a new video, I am so grateful for the chance to sit and enjoy your jokes and shenanigans each time. I am stayin in prayer for a upgrade or new Ranger and Trailer for you and giving thanks that you get it soon so you can continue to bless your family and all the families you bless. Well wishes from Canada. 😃
I like David and his mission to fatten the citizens on free hog meat but: he will always overload every piece of equipment and break it; he will almost always forget to bring a useful or important tool; and he will usually have extra problems from forgetfulness, disorganization and lack of timely maintenance. I'm not religious. Does prayer fix all that or does it act as introspection to adjust the behavior of the individual asking so that they begin to help themself? That's a rhetorical question. David, lest you think I'm merely criticizing, let me offer a suggestion. Since servicing a hog trap almost always requires certain things and since you use multiple vehicles to do so, why not create a permanent, weatherproof storage box on each vehicle that houses the always needed items that can reasonably be duplicated such as rubber boots, work gloves, rubber gloves, spare drinking water, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. For items that could not be reasonably or economically duplicated, make a checklist that's in each vehicle, maybe on the inside of the storage box lid for the other tools and equipment that are essential such as guns and ammo, pocket drags, corn, trap and monitor tools and spares, etc. I know this sounds like a service truck for a utility and it is. A similar approach to periodic maintenance schedules for vehicles and equipment will save time, money and aggravation over time but for some personalities it's too confining, lacking that spur of the moment, carefree spirit of adventure that they crave or require. Of course, that adventure usually manifests as a breakdown or surprise failure of some kind. 🥴 Hopefully, this is at least food for thought.
That’s a whole lot of Wildschwein Bratwurst (sausage) here in Germany. Especially with the young ones. Add a bit lamb fat and put them on the grill. Ausgezeichnet. Excellent. Healthy real meat with some real bier (not that funny Budweiser slop, though). We have hogs here - but looks like you have a piggy infestation over there. Thank you!
God bless you David. Wow. That one boar was crazy, jumping and all. Lucky the trap in the way. If that big fella hits your chest , game over.. Great job.
Some little piggies went to markets , Some little piggies went to homes. One little piggy almost knocked your teeth out, you got dental insurance? ...... What? What'd you think I was gonna say?😂
"This video features an incredible wild hog catch, setting new records. The hunter's skill is impressive, capturing a massive hog with precision. It's a reminder of the importance of wildlife management and the role of hunters in maintaining balance. A must-see for outdoor enthusiasts!"
Thank you for all the efforts you have put forth to make your videos! How did you get the overhead shots? A drone? So happy you got 30 in one drop & all the folks that will help. Glad that one guy took them all. Thank your camera guy too! God bless you both🙏
@@fionnmaccumhaill3257. They are given away to organizations that provide food for the poor. It’s very goofy meat. There’s just too much meat for just one family. But it’s very edible.
I remember one time, you tripped the trap and when the dad-gum hogs panicked, they dragged the whole trap right off the corn. That must be a great thing for you, you can re-use the same corn again 'cause they weren't feedin' on it after the trap was tripped! Do you reset the trap in the same spot after something like that happens, or is it difficult to get a bunch of pigs in the same spot two nights in a row?
David, I think it would be fascinating to calculate an estimate (I know it would be too clumsy and laborious to weigh each one) of the combined weight of this catch...e.g. if the average weight of this group is 75lbs, then your combined weight total would be 30*75lb=2250lb or over a ton. Wow!!!
Love all the sayings you have for your trapping jobs! That was a BIG haul, you may not have to do much more for your membership! Great job! God bless you and your family David :). Thanks for sharing part of your day with us!
