Scott if you are cranking a lot or jerkbaiting you need to get you a frabill 15 foot lure retriever it’s has the little wire on the end that looks like a spring. someone told me about how good they were I bought one and man I saved 4-5 rock crawler each trip of more. They are awesome plus you don’t have to tare your net. Good luck this year lots of people are pulling for you.

Make sure to use a nut driver instead of a screw driver to take that hose clamp off, to avoid putting the screw driver through your hand hanging over the bow of the boat. Floating nut driver now to speak of it haha. Take it from a commercial clammer that uses hose clamps to hold the aluminum poles together.

The 25 Engel is great for extra ice but it’s also over a foot tall which makes a good platform for sight fishing if you’re not brave enough to stand on your graph mounts lol.

Awesome setup Scott i also use one screw clamps on my trolling motor but be careful with zip ties they tend to cut in to your wires from the vibration God bless 🙏

Go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and get some Velcro straps for your trolling motor cables they work great. You can remove them fast and they are reusable.

Scott instead of zip ties use Velcro strips so you can just reuse them and they are easy to get on and off, the ones people use to hold extension cords together, you can cut them to any size you want

Scott AMP make some clips that hold your ducer wires too. Easy on easy off. May be a better choice than zip ties.

Not sure if it's legal in your rule books but best is the fishing pole with mounts on both sides of the then you also have the stoleway mounts for your graph but again might have to check your rule regulations

Excellent video ! Congratulation on your new boat ! Well here how to get over that stress, get an attitude and say this is my new Bass catching machine, no but really i think since your excited about your new boat and you get to fishing with it more and it better used to fishing in it that stress will leave you. Scott being that your a bass pro angler, and i know you have sponsors why can`t you get them to design you a special bait or lure, that has a hidden extra hook on the inside of the bait, that when a bass strike your bait that extra hook would come out and hook it down farther in the mouth that way you can`t lose the big bass as much as you have in the past. I truly believe that this year is your year ! Your daughter Hilary , and all your family is going to be supporting you, including me. I can`t come to where your tournament are because of health reason, and lack of cash flow, but know this, you just need to set your mind that your going to do it and quit talking about doing it, and just do it, you can, i know you can ! The issue that we had with our panoptix on the motor was that when we went to spot lock, we were essentially without the system. I have found that having it on it's own independent beam attached to the trolling motor was the best way. You have full independent control that way.

Kill it this season Scott. It’s you’re season AOY and at least 1 win and 3 top 5s. Ok..... personally I run 4 Garmin 8612s. Used to have 7612’s. Both have better resolution then the ultras. I believe you ran 7612s on last boat. I’m going to make the jump to a new Skeeter FXR21 also. Right now I run Brent Chapman’s Triton. I live in Harris chain if you ever want to go out make a show let me know I also have some private lakes in lake county with studs in it. Goodluck this season. We know some mutual friends. Oh almost forgot. Don’t use zip ties. Garmins urges against it. I’ve seen people livescope wires cut slowly from it.

My buddy uses garmin and he put panoptix on the shaft. I think it was mainly because we fish pretty shallow in our boats. He gets GREAT images though. I run humminbirds in mine and they are good. But i personally like the garmins better.

Glad to see you talk about the Skeeter ride. I constantly hear how bad skeeters ride. My new ZXR rides better than my older Ranger. This boat just glides over the waves at LOZ. Don't get me wrong though when those cruisers come out it becomes a rough ride but Id love to see any bass boat handle those waves lol

Amp’ed marine also makes a cable management system that attaches to your trolling motor shaft so you don’t have to tape or zip tie your cables down.

Just got panoptix and I put it on the shaft, I just can't risk a thousand dollars breaking off on the rocks. Garmin will not warranty anything that was tied down with zip ties

Can you please tell Rob to get a damn rod locker for his truck. I've commented multiple times, when he's got rods jammed in the cab of his truck. I'm convinced he has no idea they exist lol
